The UK TVR racing Season's winding down for 2015 and besides track/test days (and the odd winter race for those hardy enough)it all goes a touch quiet, at least until the boozing opportunities of Autosport and Race Retro Show's hehe.

Looking forward to next year then..

Im planning to major on a full season in DTEC with my Class B Rover engined car, hopefully there should be a few more cars out (that's what im hearing) but even if not, im still going to race and have fun in the bugger smokin.

Class C DTEC may be the big one , but Class A and A+ will also be seeing new cars - so im told , so it's all exciting stuff , not to mention the odd Invitation car to keep us all on our toe's nuts.

With CSCC, Bernies etc and regional Championships as well as Spa dates, there's lots of TVR racing possibilities in 2016.

So are you building/buying/bought anything new ? or like me , are you intending to campaign a regular car.

And which series are you going to be racing with ?

And with regard to DTEC , what Circuits would you like to be racing on next season ?

So many questions.. but it's going to be a long Winter, so you've got time biggrin.

Hi Daz.

I will hopefully be out in the Griff again. Still undecided whether to stay class B or go Wildcat and class A, the discussions are in progress lol! Will be doing Dtec and Bernies V8s (or at least thats the plan).

Dates wise I'd like to see Anglesey, Cadwell, Croft, Dony and a Snett300 or Silverstone GP. Maybe even a Knockhill!!??

DTEC full season...really hoping dates don't conflict with CSCC Spa...please.

CSCC, New Millennium was great fun and will be doing that again in 2016.

One more race to go this year, then ready for a long winter waiting for 2016!

Matt

PS. Still need a clear front NS lens cover to make the car perfect again!!

I'm so excited about 2016!! After just a few races over the last few years we will be back with the Cerbera in A+. Will have to see the dates before I can commit to the whole season but I'm hopefull!

Will also try to get out in the escort a couple of times.

Current Plan is

Dtec class B in the Tuscan plus a couple of bernies v8's at interesting circuits.

Hopefully a couple of cscc races in taz and a Spa race in the taz.

I'd like to see Croft on the calendar and 6 rounds rather than 5.

I know croft is a barc circuit but lots of other brscc champs run there and its a great circuit!!

It might be nice to do a Thruxton round i've only raced it once, and for a bit of variety there is always Pembrey.

As always its dependant on Dates (pls avoid LM and LM classic, and the Cscc spa dates) oh yes and budgets

DTEC in the Griff in Class C again.
Maybe Bernies V8s but can't commit this far out.
Loved Oulton and Anglesey.
Happy to try some new ones too...

the THORPEDO is making a come back in 2016, depending on how the re-commissioning goes it will definitely be out in Bernies V8's and CSCC Modsports and DTECH A+, if its a piece of st I will be stripping it and selling the parts and building the Sag, other than that I will be hiring one of the Boss Racing Caterhams to see if I want one, and picking and choosing good tracks to race the Tuscans at, it will be a quality over quantity year for me, that's the plan anyway,
starts with Autosport on the Friday, if anyone fancies staying in Birmingham again on the Friday night I am up for it, great night last year!!
