I hope that anybody can cross the winning line before Vettel preferably English speaking. Failing that an Aussie would be preferable.
seeing as they ALL speak english that leaves it pretty wide open for anyone to win ?In fact even KK speakes better english than some born and bred english i know
Hamilton has raced here three times; won twice.
The only time he didn't win was due to a pit-lane crash with kimi & co.
2007 -won by 4-seconds.
2008 -bumped into kimi.
2009 -not held.
2010 -won by 2-seconds (button in 2nd.) Red Bulls were 37 & 39 seconds behind.
re: chip on his shoulder - he has said since day one, and quite publicly - that he merely wishes to race. Let the boy race and quit the politics. But alas, we have several other threads going into great depth discussing his ability.
1st: Hamilton.
2nd: Button.
3rd: Alonso.

Could be an interesting race with respect to the tyres. If I remember correctly, and I hope I do or else what I'm about to say is bullst, then Montreal is not raced year round, so when F1 turns up, the track is not 'rubbered in' and has almost a damp/mossy quality. That together with the unpredictable nature of the Pirellis thus far suggests an interesting weekend ahead. My money will be on one of the McLarens. JB or LH, I'm as yet undecided.

Is that an intentional dig at Maaaaaark?
Newbie here but will have to defend the fellow country man. Should be a good race, will be interesting to see how the double DRS zones and tyre wear impact the result. As much as it pains me I think this will be a race dominated by Mercedes.

Ever so sorry, just having a laugh.Dont think previous years results are that relevant with the influx of changes this year. Plus the fact the tracks been resurfaced with 1500grit sandpaper.

It isn't raced much all year round, that's for sure.Added to that, the Pirellis seem not to be "rubbering in" the rack in the same being a radically different compound and tyre structure. Could make for a slippery time out there...

I wonder if Brundle will mention anything about a freshly laid surface in Canada Dont think previous years results are that relevant with the influx of changes this year. Plus the fact the tracks been resurfaced with 1500grit sandpaper.
1. Hamilton on pure race pace (He's going to be properly fired up after the last race).
2. Button without much fuss.
3. Vettel - mugged by Hamilton into turn 1, loses out to Button by needing a new nosecone.
4. Heidfeld
5. Alonso - frustrated by coming out of pits behind Heidfeld.
6. Petrov
7. Maldonado
8. Di Resta
9. Sutil
10. Rosberg - Mercedes seriously lacking pace all weekend.
Massa, Schumacher and Kobayashi in the wall.
2. Button without much fuss.
