That's the stage Richard past the crashed Colin McRae and knew he then just had to bring it home to win the championship.

Richard was a very generous guy, a friend of mine who was a massive fan who lived in the USA, came over and spectated on the RAC that year with the hope of meeting him, Richards PA Claire organised for him to meet her at service just after he won the championship. No doubt he had the world's press chasing after him having just clinched the title, but he made time to meet my friend, a great memory for her.

Richard is still sadly missed, 10 years since the championship, that has flown by.

I have met his father Alex a couple of times when I went to shows with the RB5, he is a great guy also.

Went to buy a shirt the other day and there were only L and XL ones available - now it seems all sizes are back in stock so I've ordered one.

Were they not sending them out recorded? Give them a ring, they should be able to trace it (to a point).

It was November 25th 2005 that Richard died, so thought I'd give this a bump. I have to work today, but I'm wearing my wrist band, and the t-shirt is at home.

Anybody that uses twitter, they want to get #Burnsie trending today so do what you can.

Cheers and a good weekend to all.

Indeed. Quick homepage story on the way too in order to mark the day, so look out for it!

I'm wearing my t-shirt at work.

It's great, it's so bloody loud people keep asking me what it's all about, giving me the perfect excuse to BORE THEIR FACE OFF about rallying and the RBFoundation.

I am also sporting a powerful tasch for Movember. Doing my bit for bum cancer and brain cancer this month!

I always say that it's not a proper job if you can wear a t-shirt whilst doing it (I'm MD of a number of companies, and, in case you didn't get the memo, kind of a big deal), but in this case I shall make an exception. Good job. Carry on wink
