Richmond this weekend, Nationwide was last night and will be on motortv 10:30 tonight.

Sprint Cup race will start about 12:30am Sunday morning.

The big news this week is Logano signed for Penske to replace Allmendinger. This led the way for JGR to announce the long rumoured signing of Matt Kenseth.

Finally back to sensible race times!

All three series this week.. NNS and Cup in Chicago and trucks are in Iowa

Truck race starts about 1am our time.

NNS race starts about 8:50pm our time tonight. It isn't on motors tv until 11:15am Sunday.

Cup race starts 7:15pm our time Sunday. First race of the chase, so its all to play for.

A little news this week, it looks as if Stenhouse will replace Kenseth in the #17 for Fenway.
RPM appear to be looking towards running Fords next year after Dodge said they were leaving the series.

Not hard to see why RPM are going for Ford given they're pretty close with Roush.

Should be some good racing this weekend smile

Cup at in Loudon this weekend, NNS are in Kentucky.

Can the blue deuce make it two in a row ? He starts 13th, right behind Jr.
Jeff Gordon took pole, with Kyle and Stewart following. The grid looks pretty mixed up between chase and non chase cars so it could get interesting.

The race starts 7:15pm Sunday.

NNS championship is still close with less than 60 points between the top 4. Race is love on motorstv at 9pm.

Just a heads up for the PS3 owners amongst us. The NASCAR game, which was never officially available in the UK, is now on PSN at around £7. Considering getting the disc imported from the US costs around £70 in total, it's a bargain.

So Hamlin never looked to be in trouble last weekend and took the win with a strong drive. Jimmie followed him home and now leads the chase.

Back to this weekend, all three series are in action:
Trucks are in Kentucky. Green flag is Saturday 8.30 eastern, so 1.30 am Sunday here.

Nationwide and Cup are at the monster mile in Dover.
Nationwide starts Saturday 3.45pm eastern, so 8.45 here. It is on motorstv but not until Sunday 5pm.

Cup is Sunday 2.15 eastern, 7.15pm here.

A little news this week.. Kurt Busch is on his way to furniture row racing for 2013 at the expense of Regan Smith. Busch will be in the #78 in Charlotte in two weeks time.

Elliott Sadler may be signing a 2013 Nationwide deal with Gibbs that will also see him running part time in cup.

Yep, Kurt Busch going to Furniture Row - which has tech support from RCR.
There's lots of talk where Regan Smith could end up next year - from RPM to Tommy Baldwin racing.
I hope that Furniture Row have plenty of cars..... (just to finish this season!)

That caution during the first round of green flag stops really made a mess of the field, never really sorted itself out either.

Yeah, made a right mess didn't it ?

Talladega this weekend, Nationwide have a week out, so Cup and Trucks.

Truck race starts in about 20 minutes.

Cup green flag is 7:20pm our time, Sunday.

'Dega is a plate track so we will be back to drafting. Some regard it as a lottery track, so we can throw the form book out of the window, should be fun smile

Yeah! 'Dega baby!

Trucks, Nationwide, Cup - uber-fast!
This is where the smoothest of the smooth come to the front. You spend most of the race looking in the mirror to see who's pushing you, or about to "rub you into a wreck".

For those that miss NASCAR turning right as well as left... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=related&v...
It's a NW car, but hey.

My bad - truck race was last night. I know there were a few wrecks, not sure who won.

Kahne and Newman on the front row for the cup race with Bowyer and Stewart behind them.

The lap before I was thinking how cool it looked, 4 wide, tight pack, 200mph.. then I thought "it can't las..." and sure enough Stewart was airbourne before I was finished.. hehe

  1. 2 Did very well to come through that. Thought Kenseth shoving Bowyer was a bit out of order.
Oh and Kurt confusedlaugh
