I find the concept bizarre and will keep my thoughts to myself about it, but things i noticed straight away:
No mirrors and no obvious placing for any future fitment.
The driver's head sits quite proud and has little protection. The side growths are a ramp for things to be launched at your head.
If another car was to be T-boned by it, what sort of damage could it cause?
If it suffered a puncture at either the front or back, would there be enough grip to keep it under control?
Fair points! A lot of LMP and GTE cars use rear facing cameras, not sure what the exact ruling is on this. I hope they do plenty of wet weather testing as, in my best Jason Staham impression, it always rains at Le Mans. Plus punctures are plentyful at Le Mans because of the razer sharp gravel they seem to use. No mirrors and no obvious placing for any future fitment.

Well firstly- it looks Epic! top marks for having the balls to do something different.
Secondly I'm having trouble understanding all the "keyboard experts" saying it won't do this and that, surely before spending money to build it they would have considered steering, accidents, rain etc?
I see no reason why it should be any more or less dangerous in an accident than the typical LM cars- it anything the driver is further from the impact in a head on crash and the light weight and shape should make it easy for marshalls to turn over if it flips :-)
Also since its so light it carry's less kinetic energy into an accident, it might bounce around shedding bits but the speed will be easier to scrub off with gravel, tyres etc that a heavier car.
Having read the description of the weighting I see no reason why it shouldn't turn properly (it clearly does in the video, although its hard to judge the speed given the flat track without landmarks and no other cars), I know it isn't a tricycle but contact patch/weight distribution wise it is abit similar and they don't understeer any worse that other vehicles.
Good luck to them, I hope we see some humble pie being eaten here if it runs well.....

The words wet, understeer and terminal spring to mind....
I don't see why. So you set a car up in the dry and get the balance right. The same as existing cars. E.g. no wild understeer. When it rains, grip is reduced for all wheels, but the basic balance of the car should remain just as well as it would for any "standard" design.
I can see it getting less traction for the rears in a straight line, as the fronts will not clear water from the path of the rears. But what's the idea behind the "it'll understeer badly if it rains" talk?

What's not to like? better looking than this years F1 cars and lots of clever innovation.
So is a dyson, but I don't really want to see a one racing at Le Mans.Rude-boy said:

This is pistonheads! Fearing change matters!
It is only one car in 50 odd and it looks a bit funny.
WE DON'T WANT IT.
Have you actually read the thread? It is only one car in 50 odd and it looks a bit funny.

50 Vettes would just be a procession and as dull as F1!!
