Plato has moved up a bit! He's still going to whinge about the BMW and Audi though.Pos Driver Team/Car Time Gap

Yea he might when they launch off the line! Do they still have the standard 1st gear?

Good to see they were being strict with drivers 'exceedding the track limits", I saw at least a dozen laps excluded for this, 2 in a row for Shedden and he did it again on the 3rd!
Also getting race penalties in the Carrera Cup races, saw many black & whites + a few 5 sec penalties.
About time ...

Golf looked stiff Olly?
Yep, we went up on the stiffness which was a good move for body control, but it did make it bounce a bit.Unfortunately I was rubbish in Quali, we were down on boost in FP2 but I barely went any quicker as I spent half the session grass tracking and gravel skimming. Car had loads left in it. Still, all part of building character/experience!!
ETA - wasn't all bad, only half a tenth off TOC's Quali in that car with the same boost so at least we know we've moved in the right direction with the car!

Yea I couldnt quite remember! Im sure JP will be concentrating on his own team at first tbh though
My thoughts on qualifying..
Great job by Newsham, very much less so by his team mate who says it was a communication error.
Well done to Plato and MG on a brilliant result for such a new car. I dont think ive ever seen a touring car with so much air under its rear wheel as it corners, but at least they wont have to worry about tyre wear! The colour scheme is still rubbish and the front bumper looks like its got rally spot lights from a distance with the white logo on black!
Motorbase Ford still slow in qualifying, why cant they sort that out?
The new commentary pairing seemed to work well straight away IMO
Roll on tomorrow and another lazy day infront of the TV

Looking forward to going to see my first BTCC race tomorrow with a few mates and the old man.
The atmosphere is usually great, something that really doesn't come through on the TV. Ive been to two or maybe three at Knockhill, only thing that ever annoyed me was people booing and heckling at Plato when Boardman pushed him off last year. Seemed a really stty thing to do but there we go.
