Four pages of replies and not one of these:

Sometimes I'm just not sure how weird I am.

Anyway, I'd have one of those, plus:
Martin Skancke's 6R4 rallycross car.
Audi's all couquering Quatro.
The Lotus 49.
The Gulf 917 Porsche.

That's a rather good list. Although I would probably substitute the Alfa for Moss's 300 SLR from the Mille Miglia. And possibly the 962 for a Maserati 250F...

Oh, it's no good! 5 is far too few.

I think there are more than 14 ERAs aren't there? I believe 18 of the original R-series were constructed with R3B destroyed. However we now have AJM1 and there are the two E-Types as well. 20 in existence therefore? Perhaps someone more knowledgable could correct me. I think I'd have Remus - R5B - out of all of them.

No problem. Truth be told, I didn't even know it existed until then. Gorgeous car though.

Remus would be good as it has a Clark connection (1964 French GP) but I'd still be more drawn to Romulus or Hannuman purely because they aren't as well known.

If only they hadn't rebuilt Romulus....

I reckon Hannuman is probably the most successful, though I'd be guessing. I think R12B or R4D would be spectacular as well, especially as my grandfather saw them race at Donington in 1939. Though I believe in the Nuffield Trophy, rather than the Empire Trophy as he captioned.

Purely for the H16 engine one of the best sounding engines ever.

Not sure if you can class it as a race car.

Do I have to get rid of the three that I already have?

If not, then....

Uno - Mosler MT900R - the car that upset the Grand Marques so much they vetoed it's GT3 homologation.

Due - March 707 - pure animal!

Tres - BRM Type 15 - it may not have been that successful, but it sounds AWESOME!

Quattro - Chevy Impala C.O.T. NASCAR - because. That is all.

Cinque - For fun. It has to be. Le Deux Chevaux! So much fun in 24hrs!!

Yes, I could go on, I wouldn't want a 917, or a Lotus 49, they're too nice for me and should be left for the purists who live Ron Dennis-esque lives where no piece of gravel should be left un-polished, or out of place.

If I could have six, then it'd be this.

or this

Me? Power crazed? Not me madam! It's the next person....
