Red Bull have been told their floor design is illegal and needs to be changed. Should be interesting to see what effect that has on their pace.

So I'll be watching this one on Sky then. I know last years race was one of the best of all time, but I've never considered Canada to be one of the better tracks.
As I'm a massive Lewis Hamilton fan I've picked him to win every race this year, I think I'm jinxing him so this time I'm going for MSC.
I read Jake has left the F1 fold for the next couple of races to cover the Foolsball or something.... For shame JH.

Just read Jacques fking Villeneuve is going to be part of the 'Sky Sports Team' this weekend.
BBC without Jake and 40ish mins of race action.
Or flashy wooshy graphics and Jacques fking Villeneuve.
I think I'll restrict myself to only watching the actual race.
I fking hate Jacques Villeneuve.

It now appears be be a full 2 hour highlight programme.Bearing in mind that a safety car being called is a virtual certainty at the Canadian track, and that the BBC (if it has any sense) should cut those laps out, it should mean that we should not miss any actual racing.
A good site and a good piece, James Allison, Technical Director of Lotus[Renault to you and me] http://www.f1technical.net/features/17412?sid=2e71...

I have pretty much no opinion whatsoever of him, what has he done that's riled you up so much?

It's nothing to do with his mediocre F1 driving abilaity. Plenty of drivers have won races, even WDC by having a hugely superior car, oh no.I have pretty much no opinion whatsoever of him, what has he done that's riled you up so much?
It's just everything he says or does, or looks like when he's doing it.
I have to say from the very first moment I first saw him in on the TV in the 90's I have disliked him to the point that his stupid voice and smug face makes me feel a little ill.

His outspoken nature does appear to have reared its head in this article.
I don't see anything wrong with that tbh. He was asked, so he gave his opinion.
Fair enough though, I just wondered what the problem was with him.
I agreed with pretty much everything he said.

I have to agree with his view of Senna's driving when involved with Schumacher in a recent race. Schumacher was penalised... Good job I'm not a steward, I'd have penalised Senna although someone as experienced as Schumacher should have exercised a tad more caution and not simply assume another driver, irrespective of their experience, would do the right thing. Senna like Grosjean, has "form" and MSC would surely have been aware of that. Grosjean confirmed this in the most recent race too. That he was not able to continue whilst involving both Alonso and Schumacher who were able to do so I saw as rough but just, justice on a that's the way the cookie crumbles basis.

Grosjean to get Pole and a lights to flag victory
I've told you before to go gently with the Absinthe! It sounds crazy now, but my reasoning is I've heard the experts talking about how Lotus have good mechanical grip, then I heard somebody say that mechanical grip is all important at Canada, so I put 2 and 2 together and got fiv... and came up with Grosjean!
To be fair he's done well in qualy against Kimi so far so if he can make it through the first lap for once he may have a chance

Some good footage on the BBC website of Lewis' first win at Canada, and Jenson's dramatic victory last season. Still can't quite believe the muppets at the BBC aren't televising this race live.
When is practice? normally enjoy ignoring my work on a Friday and reading the web updates... I guess it's much later right?Agoogy said:
