With Hamilton, Kimi, Schumi & Grosjean yet to win, I really can see a 7th winner here !

This is a track Mercedes will be very strong. I think we'll see them lock out the front row, hopefully with the Mclaren boys just behind.

Well, he can clearly go fast there. It is still all up in the air. McLaren just don't seem to have the pace to be honest.

Could easily have our seventh winner here.

It is perhaps Hamilton's best track - he's had two wins and it could have been four if Kimi hadn't brake tested him at the red light in the pits and if his team mate hadn't callously driven him into the pit wall (tee hee).

Schumacher has won it seven times including one of his best wins where he had to recover from a penalty when Frentzen drove off the track after being scared by Schumacher coming out the pits.
Not sure if serious.

Is it definitely only 60 minutes? I heard that the EPG's may be wrong (although that doesn't help anyone recording the race).

I'm going for Schumacher for the win and SuperkartRacer to bore us stless with 'told you so' until Valencia.
Yeh it is 60 mins was confirmed at the end of Monaco race.

From the BBC's very own website:

TELEVISION COVERAGE

Saturday 9 June
Canadian Grand Prix qualifying highlights

2230-2345, BBC One

Sunday 10 June
Canadian Grand Prix highlights

2230-2330, BBC One

Canadian Grand Prix highlights

0130-0330, BBC Three

75 mins for qualifying, 60 mins for the race (120 mins on BBC Three if you want to stay up until 03:30). Why can't they show the 120 minute highlights at 22:30 on BBC One? Oh, I forgot - the BBC have nothing but contempt for F1 fans.

They may as well not bother with Sunday and show it at a decent time on BBC Three on the Monday, say 19:00

The whole thing is pretty much an irrelevance to me though, as I will be holidaying in North Wales with no access to Sky Sports F1 (or broadband, so I can't even watch it live on Sky Go) so I've had to Sky+ it even though there's no way I will be able to avoid the result for an entire week.

Never understood why BBC didn't bag this one as a live race. With the Sunday evening prime time start it must be one of the highest rating races of the year - and the crash bang smash-up nature of the circuit must only add to this.

Although I remember watching it live and it's exactly what it looked like.

yes, its your friend and mine Mr Legard smile

I think Alonso will do well here, its not really an aero track but needs big balls on the brakes from high speeds.
Hard to say where McLaren will be - some say the car has poor traction out of slow corners, but Lewis did okay in Monaco I thought. Button needs to get a handle on the car or he'll have another torrid weekend.
Will be interesting to see how the red bulls fare with a modified floor, see if it does make a difference or not. Lotus hard to judge - Grosjean was flying around Monaco but we didn't get to see him race, I think he mad the measure of Kimi there.

Lets hope these stupid students don't cause too much disruption.

I'm going for a Mercedes pole and a top 3 in the race shared between Mercedes, McLaren and Ferrari. Renault will be up there, perhaps ahead of Red Bull.
