GregE240 said: Awful, awful, awful tv coverage. Dreadful editing, poor presenters and far too much sucking up to Audi. You think, if Sky took this on and had multi cameras / drivers etc, it could be amazing. But no, retards at Eurosport conspire to ruin it for everyone Too much sucking up to Nissan you mean, and I dont want it to go to Sky thanks very much Its not perfect, but full coverage for 24 hours is something we could only have dreamed of a few years ago

Motors TV had it a couple of years ago and it wasn't much different.
I think Eurospaort do a reasonable job. For God's sake don't let Sky snaffle this event as well.

A superb effort from Audi. Toyota have got a lot of work to do, but on the evidence seen yesterday, next year should be close!
Many thanks for all of your company, see you next year!!

Even if sky or bbc got it , they'd still have to use the pictures there given and just talk over the top of it. Having a tv channel give over a whole 24 hours to a live sport is pretty special, some of the whingers should think of that before b hing.

Seems kinda funny seeing the winners wearing laurels.
Does annyone know the last year in which F1 had laurels? Eric MC maybe?

Does annyone know the last year in which F1 had laurels? Eric MC maybe? Hunt had laurels at the 1977 British GP. They stopped them because they covered the sponsor's logos on the overalls...

Unbelievable - Eurosport covers 41hrs of Le Mans - but can't stay an extra few minutes to enjoy the full podium !?!!

Good racing this year. I was more interested in the lower classes like the Corvette and Porsche race which was great. But as for LMP1, I don't no, this all feels like a shallow win if you ask me, did you really think Audi would not win Le Mans this year, lets face it, they had almost no competition.

Adverts = money= the show you've been watching, if a advertiser is willing to pay for more ads in a short space of time are you going to say no and turn down the money? The only way you'd get no ads is if a non commercial station (bbc) take it on and that's never going to happen.

But that's not audi's fault/problem. You enter your team and race against whoever else turns up.
