The mud was horrendous, you had to walk through alot of this crap to get from the camping area to the track. Photo of a handsome chap to brighten things up. We camped at Woodlands, in the car park as we arrived late Thursday and it was getting dark. Glad they closed the campsite as we had a good pitch. A couple of snaps of Q1. Hows this for timing, on my part, not Buttons. His was sh-t. Don't know what you all saw on TV, but there were a group of pissed up loud people 3 rows in front of us that got the Mexican wave going and when everyone was stood up and cheering we started chanting team & driver names. It was Caterham that were the first to join in along with the stewards, managed to get half the pit lane to join in. It took quite a while of chanting teams names & a few boo's to get Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari & Mercedes to join in. Can't quite see Rosberg & Brawn but they were here waving. RedBull team joining in. Red Arrows My race day seats, got a good view of the first corner. Second lap picture of Hamilton doing badly. Have to say, even with the mud it was an epic weekend. No doubt i'll go next year.

The atmosphere and mood in Woodlands was fantastic I met some great people had an absolute blast and saw racing from so many parts of the circuit I feel like I truly got value for money Spa / Monza are on the list the Mrs wants to come next time and fancies Monaco but I am unsure is it affordable ?

If you feel like you got value for money at Silverstone you'll love Spa. Did it for the first time last year and was blown away by it. Had an awesome weekend.

TheHeretic said: Japan, I think it was? Hamilton moving into the side of Massa? Spa, Hamilton moving across into Kobayashi? Button Lewis in Canada... Closing gap? No two 'racing' incidents are ever the same. Same with Stewards' decisions on whether to penalise or not and the severity of any penalty, to whom it is 'awarded' fairly, unfairly or what frequently baffles me, singling out one individual for a penalty when to my eyes, both are partly to blame. To be 100% fair every time would be very difficult or indeed impossible, but I believe both drivers and stewards must try harder. Webber and Alonso both demonstrated 'how to' during the closing stages of yesterday's event. But then they are obviously not 'racers'. ...

Never said anything was fair, just pointing out some incidents from last year that were descriptive of what the poster was talking about. I wouldn't dream of calling anyone a racer for fear of incurring any wrath!

This was great, the cheering and booing was really funny and the TV guys played along pointing their cameras at people to incite the crowd! Nico and Ross Brawn starting a Mexican wave was fab!

Didn't watch the race but really chuffed Mark W won, his interviews at the TT and Moto GP make him shine as a true Motorsport enthusiast, how old is he out of interest?

Adrian W said: Isnt the fault with the organisers then? maybe they should have made the teams practice pitstops after the changes in conditions, i accept that Kob was the only one to actually hit anyone It's Formula 1, not arrive and drive karting.

We camped at woodlands. An absolutely excellent weekend. We arrived Thursday afternoon, and didn't queue at all. Any later and imThink we would have been in trouble. Our mate arrived friday and we prked his car in the centre of the roundabout and blagged him onto the site (they werent for letting him on even though he was sharing our tent, and only had a bag of clothes with him!) We also had planned to stay to Monday afternoon, which worked out great. We were one of the last ones out, and the staff allowed us to bring the cars round from the bottom mud pit zone h, right up to near the tents on the road near zone b. There was hundreds of abandoned tents, gazebos, bbqs etc, as people couldn't be arsed carrying them the miles back to the car. Ours was stuffed, otherwise I would have had myself a few Got some pics but the upload doesn't work from iPad Definitely there next year. Wednesday to Monday !! Met some great people !
