I don't know what was shown on the TV but Smith was pushing Plato all the way up the straight and then span him round on the corner, totally uncalled for. I also don't know what Plato said on the TV interview but the one done over the PA was something to the lines of: "There's a young boy out there which thanks to these regulations has more power then everyone else and he just uses it to push me off" I didn't see it but I think I heard that Sheddon pushed Smith later in the race? Deserved it, he was holding up six or seven cars except up the main straight where he would pull out a fantastic gap only to lose it after two or three corners. The Mini race today was spectacular, fantastic racing, really close with little heavy contact.

well I went up today and I must say the minis were just fantastic some of the best racing I've seen.
I can't understand why so many never watched it.
as for the btcc yawn. won't be back it's a bit dire to say the least. I understand some love it on here but it's not a patch on what it was 10 years ago.

Minis where great as usual! Was running Elaine, Stephanie and Emma all did great! Heard loads of people saying the Minis are great. Really hoping Oly Mortimer finds a new sponsor. Btcc was a bit boring For anyone wanting to get into minis Kenny McLeod is selling his for £8500.

Quite enjoyed the Minis too, didn't realise George Orr was taking part, used to know George but not seen him for years now. Spotted him in the background when Louise was interviewing the top 3 finishers on TV, George was unlucky to finish outside the top 3.

In fairness you picked the wrong example Plato was subjected to a perfect PIT move. Good ol' boy Sheriff Aaron Tyler Putz would have been proud if one of his state troopers in a crusier took out some fleeing miscreant with that PIT move. "PIT" ~ Precision Intercept Technique. Perfectly executed on Plato today. Plato's PIT move deployer said :~ said: . Just one of those things.. . That's a cracker.... . I believe the Stewards did not turn a blind eye on this occasion. That also makes a refreshing change. With Plato out of the races things were far less interesting. Even Matt Neal chose to behave himself. That makes another refreshing change ... Roll on next week. Then we can forget Plato and get back to finding fault with Maldonado's every move. Nice to see those 'historics' in action ... where were the Lotus Cortinas ?...

Mini race was pretty wild Would have liked to push Stevie for the win but after this little moment I overcooked it at Macintyres and had a run through the gravel and figured better off to get second for the championship position than push on balls out and risk binning everything.

OK heres the thing, i am not a Plato fan, last season with his moaning cause RML didnt want to spend to get parity he tried to cut back the teams that had spent and worked hard to be winners, so that the Chevy could have a chance. I wont go on about how he uses his minor TV status to get his way and to also get most of his fans, much of Platos fans are there for the TV work and not even i'm sure into racing.
Anyway. All i'll say of THAT incident is thus: Anyone with even a passing interest in BTCC or WTCC will know that if Arron Smith were to lose his license for that incident there would be empty grids within 2 meets. But yeah Plato isnt going to happy i grant you, and ITV do like to get a mike to him ASAP, but then he probaBLY searches fro it himself.
For a bloke who is doing the KX Moanmentum academy to find a rising star, to suggest a 21 year old should get his licence revoked is actually disgusting, especially when it wasn't exactly a dangerous accident.
the man in a prat, simple as that.
And while i am at it KX Moanmentum is a joke your not red bull you never will be and this acedemy will last the season. KX is made by TESCO FFS!!! hardly living the dream is it?!! No branding guru will get kids drinking KX instead of Monster or Red bull. lol....
Plato your a turnip.

"PIT" ~ Precision Intercept Technique. Perfectly executed on Plato today. A similiar move Plato did on Neal a few weeks back? i.e. pushed him straight off into the gravel. Didn't see Neal throwing his toys out or spitting out his dummy?

Didn't see Neal throwing his toys out or spitting out his dummy? You were not paying attention. Neal first tried a near successful PIT move on Plato ... Only near successful because it did not totally negate Plato's continuing participation, unlike yesterday perfect PIT result on Plato. Plato's 'racing incident' get together with Neal soon after was not a PIT move.... nowhere near ... Sheriff Putz would not be pleased with that poor effort by Plato ...

It worked and he didn't end up nearly killing a dozen bystanders, the NYPD should hire him.

I cant understand how people(2 in this thread) are ignoring what happened before plato punted off neal in snetterton, its taking that incident completely out of context. In fairness dont be so lazy there are probably 100 other incidents that you can pick where plato has nudged someone of and got away with it XDA said: A similiar move Plato did on Neal a few weeks back? i.e. pushed him straight off into the gravel.
