There are quite a few retro liveries appearing at the weekend with it being the 50th anniversary of the first Great Race.

FPR:
Bottle-O:
DJR Norton:

888 are going to be running the Craig Lowndes car with a Peter Brock-style livery as well. A few others teams have made smaller changes for the race as a tribute to the anniverary.

The Brock tribute livery. Shame they had to swap the Marlboro logo around on the bonnet so it didn't contravene anti-smoking laws.

This worked when I last used it. Currently watching some news stories on it. http://www.v8supercars.com.au/liveapp/

You've just got to find an Aussie postcode and phone number from somewhere.

Well the live timing and the tracker is working so far. Let's hope the live video works on Friday for the qualifying.

Well the excitment is building here! They have reports and interviews on nearly all radio and tv stations here, just cant imagine this sort of coverage for a motor race event at home , they really seem to know how to build up the excitment.
Weather looks good too, was 30 plus here yesterday ! !

I think the live youtube stream is meant to start at midnight on saturday into sunday. Could be an hour either side of that though, it's a guess. I'm going to try to watch as much as I can before I conk out on the sofa.

I'll try and watch it and push through to the F1. Then go sleep for the rest of Sunday.
