WHAT AN EVENT !!!!! Thursday and Friday settling in and watching Practice,Friday visited the Museum at the Track,Saturday watched Final Qualifying then had Visit to Holden Team Garage. Watched the Dunlop Series Race inside the Garage on the Multi-Screen set up,saw the Utes and Touring Car Masters from the outside of Murrays (the Last Corner) then went to watch the Shoot Out from the Outside of the entry to Hell Corner (the First Corner).
Raceday watched the first 45 minutes from the exit of Hell Corner having been given a seat on the Front Row by a very nice Lady from Melbourne.
Then took the Shuttle up to the Mountain and took Pics from a lot of locations from just past The Cutting to the Forest Elbow. Could not get past a Private Property to get to Conrod so took the Shuttle back to the Grandstand area and watched the last 10 minutes from the Outside of Murrays and got the Final Pic of the 1st and 2nd Cars passing the Chequered Flag. Still Buzzing now and have the Gold Coast 600 still to look forward to.
I'll post Pics from both Events when i get back.

Apologies if this is against forum rules, but does anyone have a torrent or stream of the race? I've been on/off following V8 for a bit, but never found more than a snippet of the mightiest bit!

Try the offical V8 supercar channel on Youtube, I'm sure they have uploaded the complete races of other events throughout the year?

Yep, the V8 Supercar channel on Youtube is fantastic. The BTCC could learn loads from it, showing highlights and pole position laps etc!

Mega finish, wow !
Considering hed been stacked twice in pit lane Lowndes was driver of the day to finsh 3rd, I didnt think Dave Reynolds would have been able to apply so much pressure to wincup so late in the race (I know fuel was an issue for car 1), I though DR was just a one lap quallifier.
Bad day for FPR & not good for HRT

Any chance I can pick your brains on the two events when you've done Gold Coast 600 please?

We're going to do Bathurst, Surfers and Philip Island MotoGP next year. Can't wait!

Is the track public road, or private with access to the properties off it?
