From neals interview it sounds like we are on for a repeat of 08 where he played a big part in helping giovionardi will the title
And 2007 when he did the same when driving for a different team. laugh Didn't get so lucky in 2009 though. biggrin

Me too.

He seems a decent bloke and a clean driver aswell.

Fair play to Plato though, that was a great drive.

Just caught the last race will have to see the other 2 again and i have to say austin and welch threw away a possible first win for them with the contact at the 1st corner they sould of been helping each other but oh well atleast it's good to see them up the front. Good race from plato 20th-1st looked to have the mg set up well for speed of the corners which helped him a lot.

Honda where always going to struggle here but they haven't had any boost decreases since the last round and mg haven't had a boost increase allthough i would like to see honda with a bit more for brands which sould suit there car. Would love to see sheddan win rather than plato or neal.

Very little serious contact between the drivers few bumps and incidents but to be expected at silverstone. Hopefully with 2013 and full ngtc there should be less moaning and wish toca would just stick at the same boost not helping the series with the changes every other race.
Why was gilham driving the insgnia not stockton.

They did have a slight increase. Not as much as others though.

Bit stupid really to see Plato come from 20th to first with 12 laps still left. Same with Jackson. Just seems a bit daft when the Hondas are so boarked. How a few can suggest the Hondas did that so they could get more boost for BH...come on really? Sheddon and Neal looked like they need to be on suicide watch tonight.
Anyway the people with any modicum of intelligence or a sense of balance and perspective (basically no Plato fans then) will know that today as a whole has been a bit of a joke as far as Jackson and Platos wins from the back go.
I know it came happen but both when you watch were just faster cars in straight line, out of corners etc....thats unfair boost at work.

And a quick point to the people who will bang on about how its the same as last year was for Plato. A massive difference here is that Plato in in an NGTC car now, last year RML opted to be cheap skates and run an old car and try to moan away the Turbos advantage....Now they are in NGTC cars why allow Jason the same advantages?

Worst thing is that the Plato fans will just be even more convinced Jason is that good...he ain't.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the touring cars this afternoon, support races not so much. Glad to have Sky+ it and could FFWD through much of the dross (like the 50 million adverts!)

Would also like to see Shedden win it at Brands though. Did Neal's father apologise for his remark about the Marshall?

As much as i enjoyed Mike Jordans comment about Neate.....i suddenly thought..hmmm Jeff Smith's cheque book out weighs his talent too!
I think Mike will realise it was very quick and quite clever, but a bit silly. Kind of stuff we say on these stupid forums is one thing, but to say it out loud when your having to live in the same paddock with these folks, thats another matter...point being if Neate is paying 650k a year to race for 888 MG...what if next season he was thinking of maybe paying to race for Mike Jordan?.....opps....not now.
As much as i like to comment on Neates poor race craft, if i was running a BTCC team i'd just see a bloke walking around the paddock with 650k buring a hole in his pocket every year and an appetite to race....i'd kiss his butt every race weekend and treat him like a God....you never know when you might want that 650k.

Im a plato fan, whats your problem? Apparently i have "no intelligence or sense balance and perspective", what do you base your rather wild opinion on?

Did you notice Neate or Smith winning in the same cars as Plato or Jackson?

Yes they ahd a car advantage but they still know how to pedal them,

Whether you like Plato or not (and many dont) suggesting he isnt that good is the height of idiocy

Something confused me about today, just been flicking through my pics of the day (still on camera but will upload tomorrow) and I heard over the tannoy about various drivers getting warnings and some getting time penalties...so...does this apply to all drivers or is one immune?

What a drive from Plato at the end pure class.

Honestly this series would be poorer if Neal or Plato left, this is supposed to be the pinical of British saloon racing if they left it would just be amateurs and pay drivers and I have no interest in watching a grid full of ex Clio cup racers.

Lets be honest if plato and neal wasn't there then it would be a poorer series as a result. Plato can drive anything quick and it showed today the way the car could get the drive out of the corners was incredicable a real testiment of the quality of 888. Should be an intresting final hoping for sheddan to win he deserves it with his drives this year he was incrediable at thruxton in the rain.
