In other words, he acts just like almost all drivers.
So basically Vettel should mimic the other drivers and not be an individual.

That is not what he said at all.

Mid-Late season school report ... 4/10 for Mercedes and Mclaren ... could do better ~ they have the kit, drivers, resources and brains but, must try harder.

Still, Lewis can tease the guy he will replace next season:~

"Today, I went backwards more places than yow" .. rofl
I too was quite happy after watching Buttons start, he certainly had good pace in P2 so I think a solid result was on the cards. A bit of inexperience being shown by both Sauber drivers early on. Still rate both of them highly.

!
Inexperience? That would be a debatable comment on Perez but Kobyashi has 55 or so races behind him. How many do you need to do to be called experienced?
Has he really been around that long? Time flies quick! Maybe poor judgement is a better term to use for him then smile

Shame as it's an awesome track in many respects.
Really? Two long straights and the rest mickey mouse low speed corners? Personally I think it's dreadful.
The last sector is very good, a set of very fast sweeping bends

The track has little or no charisma. The locals don't seem too keen on motorsport.

Your comment about Hamilton is a bit petty. He had a broken ARB and drove pretty damn well. The car looked like it was going to jump off the track!

I enjoyed the race, there was some good battles throughout. None at the front I guess, but overall, a decent race. It's still quite tight in the championship, anything can happen. Just ask Jenson!
Yes a bit good in parts like someone's egg ... but not enough 'good parts'. ..smile

My comment about two drivers going backwards was not serious and an attempt to put some humour into the dullest race of the season. Hence the rofl

It was sad to see drivers of their stature struggling hard to go backwards.

Kobayashi got right with his post race comment ... "best fogotten".

I was a keen admirer of Raikkonen first time around but not much towards the end of that period. However, I have been impressed with his driving second time around because of his ability to keep out of trouble and still make progress. That's a fine skill which few on the current grid seem able to produce consistently.

It's in the middle of nowhere and the tickets are too expensive for local pockets and it is hardly an international draw like Singapore, Abu Dhabi or Melbourne.
Fair comment, wonder why they built it there?

Can't remember if the Indian GP was better subscribed?

For a still emerging Nation with an apparently thriving Industrial backbone including Automotive interests, I was surprised that the race was poorly attended. Maybe interest will increase with the locals with the passing of more time.

It is an attempt to garner new fans, in emerging markets. That is always a risk.

Great drive from Vettel, but only the 2nd most impressive thing Red Bull have done today.

Sure the Red Bull Stratos thing is fairly awe inspiring but did Felix do the Gangnam style dance afterwards? I think not!

Button did say the circuit is a great one for overtaking. Perhaps both McLarens being nobbled took some of the excitement out of the race as it reduced the numbers of cars on track to do overtaking?

he's got form for getting quick near contract signing time. was a shame he wasn't allowed to go for a podium, but that was never going to be allowed was it.

Did anyone notice that Hamilton made contact with Kimi at the Turn 3 braking zone on the first lap.

Maybe his Ferrari 'Dawg' was a bigger 'Dawg' than his team mate's earlier this season and now much improved ... wink
