I can't remember the Korean track at all, so it can't be that great. New coanda exhaust on the Lotus this week, Kimi's not out of it yet...
If they get the double drs working then maybe but in my own opinion the boat has sailed for Lotus this season, saying that i never thought Lewis would leave Mclaren and that Perez was a shoe-in for Massas seat so....

Going back to the Lotus double drs, its taken them an age to try and get it to work, makes you wonder for how long it took Red Bull considering the first time it was even mentioned for them was at the weekend.

It's not, it's an absolute nothing of a track.
Really?

Some slow corners, very long straight. The final few corners are amazing - fast, one direction then the other, tempting the drivers to open DRS early and walls close-by either side.

A slightly bizarre pit entrance I admit.

Are you just following the usual bandwagon of slating it because of where it is and who designed it?

I quite like the Korean track. Long straight followed by slightly shorter straight at the start, then lots of high speed curves and then some slower ones. A few places to overtake as well. I remember watching Hamilton's pole lap last year and it was unbelievable impressive. The car was pretty much dancing through every turn. I can't find a video of it, but it was brilliant to watch.

No match for Red Bull in the race, but there was some great racing between Hamilton and Webber. Very much looking forward to this race again.

vettel? one of the easier guys to like i'd say, if you've seen any of his interviews with Lee Mckenzie or Jake Humpries and DC. very accessible, funny etc. at least, when he does ok in the race. proved his detractors wrong saying he can't overtake, etc.

sits easily in my top 3.
The finger waving really gets on my nerves, if it wasn't for that he would be ok.

2012 should have been a MP4/4 style whitewash for Mclaren, anything less than the double is a dismal failure. RBR will thoroughly deserve their third WCC title.
Disagree. The MP4/4 was simply a step ahead all year, on average it qualified a second ahead of any car, at Monaco Senna was something like 2.7 seconds quicker than any other team.

McLaren have not had that sort of performance advantage this year, although I would agree they have squandered opportunities.

OK yeah I see what you mean - how can you not like a sexist perv who only sings when he's winning?
If anyone else pulled that stunt on a female work colleague especially in my line of work they would find themselves bouncing down to HR as a minimum. That aside I thInk it is the bloody finger that actually drives me nuts.

Another fascinating post about the subject!

Have you got anything interesting or different to say at all?
Or do you just want to have one opinion on these thread so that PH can reflect your own narrow view of the world?

Seriously if you look at that You Tube Vid, I don't think the woman interviewing Vettel was too impressed either, but her perception/feelings don't matter obviously.
It was not a smart or mature thing to do on live feed, I did not find it amusing but cringeworthy and disrespectful - so sorry that I have a different opinion to others, and that you find it so difficult to accept.

PS Grow up

Hopefully Mclaren perform a little better here. I really just want it to be close with everyone going into the last race.
Red Bull were awfully dominant last weekend though, I feel we may see more of the same.
Unless a couple of the other teams manage to duplicate the RB rear-wing device and do so effectively it's game over and we are due for a five race Vettel bore fest.
He really is very good, but why is he so difficult to like?
I'm with you - that new RedBull rear wing is a 1sec advantage over everyone else at the moment.

Concise as you like, the definition of irony right there.

Yeah, RB 1-2 in quali again thanks to their double DRS; Vettel will win, Alonso and Hamilton fighting over 2nd; and Grosjean only to score 1 in his personal first corner ten-pin bowling session.

Oh dear. It was merely meant in jest - Lee has been doing the F1 interviewing for almost as long as Vettel has been driving in F1 and I assume they know each other fairly well as a result - it was a bit of a joke. You know, ha ha? It's not like he went motorboating or anything. Jeez.

I see your point but the points table wouldn't show a second per lap, nor does it need to, if the fastest car with the fastest driver and the most astute driver isn't at the top of both tables then as a team they have underperformed.
I don't think McLaren have had the fastest car this year, certainly not consistently, in some races yes, but not the entire year. Couple that with Jenson "balance" Button struggling for a third of the season and some unreliability thrown in for good measure.

MP4/4 won the WCC 199 points to 65, it didn't just dominate, it utterly destroyed every other team. Over 16 races they had 3 DNFs and 1 disqualification between the two cars and ten 1-2 finishes. They only didn't win at Monza due to Schlesser t-boning Senna as he re-joined the track.

You are both as bad as each other and this forum would be so much better if neither of you were part of it.

Oh hang on I've got a button for that.
Oh please, press it - PRESS IT !!!!!
