I was taken on a tour of the pits, Ferrari garage and paddocks. Unfortunately I had to hand back the pink pass. Bumped into Jackie Stewart and Leo Sayer!

clap Good for you Jondy, that must have been an amazing experience. Have you got any more photos from the paddock to share with us?

Well the electronic pass will allow you into the Paddock area. It will also get you into Silverstone and you will need to make your way over to where the old pits complex and cafe is. There you will find the buses that will take you to the "wing"

Depending on how nice you have been to the issuer or how important you are, you may be issued with pit lane or grid access.

The main thing is guard it with you life !!!!
Some pretty impressive lurking CTP770!

I was surprised and impressed to find at Montreal that all the support race paddocks are open - much as one might find in any UK club race meeting. Made a very pleasant change from my F1 experiences in Europe. The paddocks are down at the end of the circuit behind the hairpin and spectators are free to roam all weekend. Made a nice change, although I'm sure if GP2 and GP3 ever visited they'd be suitably inaccessible.

The Lotus 79..... The most beautiful F1 car ever built. Nothing comes close. Absolute perfection.

Just one minor detail missing.

No JPS decals visible anywhere.

Another vote for Silverstone Classic if you are interested in getting close to the cars and into the garages etc.

You also get to meet much more interesting people biggrin

Did you get to meet ricciardo?

When he did the meet the fans thing on the stage he seemed more excited than the crowd, came over as very genuine.

They just keep on coming!

Are you taking requests? If so, show us Bernie and I'll be even more impressed!

I'm staggered!
