Discussion
Daft lad. My thoughts go out to the cyclists family.

That local newspaper link says it happened on May 14th last year ? How on earth did they keep it quiet for that long ? and why did the team/BTCC have a someone who is on trial for death by dangerous driving, driving for them ?
Innocent until proven guilty? His road licence has no bearing on his race licence?

No I was thinking more from an image/PR point of view. The BTCC and Dynojet having a driver who is being accused and looking quite likely of causing death by dangerous driving can't be good at all ? I just can't work out how a story like this has only come to light well over a year later ?His road licence has no bearing on his race licence?

Yes but obviously a trial was going to come up and compromise the season. His road licence has no bearing on his race licence?

It's Frank Wrathall Snr's team. That's why. Incredible how a story like that has been kept quiet for so long. Seems pretty conclusive evidence, despite his fangirls on Twitter defending him.......

Next race isn't until 4th August, so you would assume the trial will PROBABLY be over by then.
Death by careless could be a years ban, or up to 5 years in prison. And given he's not pleaded guilty. And the evidence is pretty damming. I don't see why he should avoid a custodial sentence. Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
