Agreed with the above really!

As for the power increase I only really ever saw it reported on forums and nothing in the media, but as with anyone would love to see it happen!

I am praying that Ogier has a non score in Spain so the title fight goes to GB. Surely even the FIA wouldn't change the event format with that on the line? Would they?!

This sums the B.S. up, the time equalisation is beyond ridiculous. Imagine trying to explain that to a casual fan, and why they have done it!

That's very magnanimous of you Mr C
Didn't think the bet would be won so soon!
Haha I hope Latvala wins Spain, Ogier has a DNF, before winning an ultra close Rally GB in traditional style, shoving the shootout up the FIAs arse!

It would be quite a story for Latvala to turn things around from nearly haviong nervous breakdowns at the side of the stage, to become world champ. I just hope its not for a couple more years yet! wink

Just sent my thoughts about the WRC and its shootout to the FIA and VW. Will try and forward it on to a few other people in the sport!

Victory is ours! biggrinbiggrin

I think there should be more points on offer, like in the ERC where they are awarded at the end off each leg.Might just reduce the amount of settling for position ETC.

I see they still want the championship leader to run 1st on the road for 2 days. Its too much IMO and they get punished enough as it is. Bring back the qualifying stage, it was a good build up to the event!

I only saw it on Simpson's page and no where else
Another example of promoters failing!

Its looking great. Plenty of brits in the main field, with two 6R4s and the Stratos in the national! Can't wait for it now!

Ogier leads at the end of day 1... it isn't even bloomin 4pm yet! Loads of time for more stages, and once the ars are back at service the mechanics have all the hard work to change the cars to tarmac spec. WRC is far too soft these days!

Terrible day for the brits really, just an experience building exercise from now on. Elfyn must hate Spain after whats happened the last couple years!

This could have been so much worse! yikes

Did you see the spin Paddon had? So lucky to still be going!

Latvala has reduced Ogier's lead this morning, but im sure Seb has plenty of speed left in reserve. Nightmare for Meeke, hitting a rock on stage 9 and getting another puncture.

Leading positions after SS10:

Pos Driver Car Time/Gap
1. Sebastien Ogier Volkswagen 2hr16m33.9s
2. Jari-Matti Latvala Volkswagen +28.3s
3. Mikko Hirvonen M-Sport Ford +51.9s
4. Andreas Mikkelsen Volkswagen +57.4s
5. Mads Ostberg Citroen +1m08.9s
6. Dani Sordo Hyundai +1m40.2s
7. Thierry Neuville Hyundai +3m02.5s
8. Martin Prokop Czech Ford +3m16.1s
9. Robert Kubica M-Sport Ford +5m47.7s
10. Haydon Paddon Hyundai +7m28.8s

Even worse when it is the WTCC as main headline! Even less people give a toss about that, than they do the WRC!

I would love to see Scirocco and Veloster WRCs etc, it shouldnt be too long till we hear the new tech rules. Shouldn't be..

New running order rules have been confirmed. IMO it punishes the leader too much.

Seb Ogier will be pissed!

Agreed that its the right time for Mikko to stop. There have been a couple glimpses of the old form this year, but its not really worked out for him. He seems like a decent guy, so can only wish him the best for the future.

Many people seem to be tipping Tanak to be his replacement, but im not sure he can still be relied on, and would be quite a risk with him and Elfyn making it quite a young team.

Good to see that car safety is being looked at for the 2017 regs..

All sounds positive, and another reason for bigger cars is good to me smile

Agreed with the above, he was brilliant to watch all weekend! I expect he will do the odd Rally Finland or Rallycross race now.

Good stuff! smile

Great to see Kris Meeke has been confirmed at Citroen for 2015. His pace has been superb, especially in the 2nd half of the season, and it makes sense to let him build on what he has learnt!
