In Aberhirnant Kubica was about a foot away from dropping his left rear into a deep ditch while in the dark he was mighty into the sweeping, downhill right hander we were at, taking a far bigger cut than anyone else! I hope he stays and can build on this year, else it will have been a complete waste of time.... and many car parts
I guess Tanak isn't a bad choice, he is certainly fairly quick. It will be interesting to see if he has matured since his first time in the WRC. He certainly won't get another chance if he blows this one!
Mr Slippy I see your point about the publicity Kubica would bring, but after the year he has had surely he can't get a top drive? If I was to crash my mower at work every time I used it I wouldn't expect Wentworth phoning me up and offering a job. It would have to be a 3rd car for Kubica IMO.
As for Loeb I really can't see him giving himself the hassle of squeezing WRC between his WTCC and team owner efforts. The Monte is possible, but that is it IMO, and surely Citoen wouldn't want him possibly taking points away from the full time drivers?

looks like no in car split times next year, with expulsion from the championship if you get caught!

Sounds good to me, I have always felt the drivers should just get on and drive the things!

Good choice by Paddon, there always seems to be quite a bit of uncertainty about how long Citroen will stay around in the WRC. He seemed to progress well in the few events he did last year, so hope to see that continue.
I also see the Rally New Zealand is looking to make a come back. The roads are stunning and have to be in the WRC, I would make the flight over if they can pull it off!

And its looking more likely that there will be Toyotas hooning down those stages in a couple years time too!

There is no escape for the drivers these days, with social media spreading the news so quickly and easily!
I see Kubica has confirmed that he will be back in a Fiesta WRC, while Craig Breen will do the whole of the ERC and 7 WRC2 events. Lets just hope the 208 can now do more than one stage without breaking!!
