In fact about as surprised as I'd be if we found out Simon Gillet is involved!

Im not remotely surprised and even with me being 10 miles from the proposed venue the initial plan sounded promising but as things went on it became more obvious that it was never going to happen.

The local government should invest in the other current tracks in wales of llandow and pembrey.

CoW may as well book the "stand-in" venue for 2016 as well because there is no hope in hell they'll be ready for summer '16 if they are only starting building sometime this year but after march.

Remind me do CoW have full planning permission yet? The pending planning enquiry is only under section 16 (common land) and conversion thereof.

Yep. I'm surprised it's got this far down the line TBH.

When established circuits in far more favourable locations struggle to make ends meet, who on earth thought a circuit in the middle of nowhere with start-up debts in the hundreds of million of pounds was going to be anything other than a gigantic failure?
