Evening gents.

Looking for some advice from someone with experience of spectating a Rally GB event please.
I'd like to go this year, but on the website the spectator pass is listed as over £100.
Is the only way to watch the rallying, buying a pass and using their viewing points or is there scope to be able to see a decent amount of action without being ripped off?

Thanks in advance, Stuart.

Haven't looked this year, but individual stage passes were much less than that last year and actually good value I thought.

Service was free.

Rally Pass only worth it if you're watching the whole event.

Right, just check the site - I think they've just not listed the other prices yet, which is rubbish. They'll list day/stage passes nearer the event I should think.

Thanks mate.
I have a few mates interested but a couple put off by the £100 ticket price.

Last year a stage pass was £15 per person, or £33 for a day pass.

With the way the event is scheduled you can't really stage jump. As others have said this makes the £100 world rally pass is a complete waste of money, unless your going to watch the top 10 then struggle walking up the live stage to get back to the car park. Get your car out of the car park. Arrive at the other stage you wanted to spectate to be faced with 2 problems. Firstly if its anything like last year a sign saying the car park is full! Secondly a long walk to the stage thru said car park. That's a lot of faff

Your better off spending £15 a day for 1 of the double run stages. Picking your spot and watching the whole field. Then moving to a different spot for the seconded pass. Even moving 100 meters up the stage to a different corner can change experience massively.

We went to dyfi last year, was a fantastic venue, I booked in advance and got a day pass, however this year I will just buy a single stage pass for 15 quid. I'd recommend doing a repeated stage like dyfi, that way you get to see the cars twice....getting around between stages isn't really practice

looks like I'm actually in the UK for part of the event this year so I'll be heading that way.

In previous years I've used an OS map and walked in on one of the legal footpaths but that can make for quite a long walk so I think I'll just pay 15 quid this year lol
