Brabham wins the pathetic hissy fit of the day prize.
That's harsh, try putting a couple of hundred grand into a season, trying to make a career out of motorsport and then throwing it away.

It's a job like any other...just imagine if you fooked up at your place of work and caused several thousand pounds worth of damage how you would feel....insensitive idiot you are
Scale of the investment doesn't really come in to it Yoda.

He fked up. Him. Own fault. Be as disappointed and frustrated as you like but getting out the car and punching mud banks and kicking tyre walls just makes you look like a petulant brat, and that's what the sponsors who stumped up the several hundred grand will see as well.

He was in front at turn in, got clattered and both cars didn't take the corner.
He may have been infront at turn in (just) but that move round the outside was never on!! Having raced there the chicane isnt that wide... I wouldnt try a move like that personally and imo given new rules he should have that taken off him. But btcc lads seem to get away with much more than us clubby racers unfortunately so chances are nothing will be done! Just my 2penneth...
Interesting other drivers made it round the outside there in the same race, despite only being parallel along side at the start, when their competitor gave them racing room.

Surely sheddon can't be given the win for that last race? He clearly only got past turkington only by being all four wheels in the gravel. Hardly racecraft was it, FFS I could pass like that?!!!

He's a young kid give him a break he knows he fked up. Slippy curbs it will be in-beaded in his brain for next time it's a junior category at the end of the day. It not like he's racing for a manufacture.

Back to the old BTCC then, don't try to overtake, either punt them off or cut the corner, or both, and Sheddon will be going who me!

Sorry but that is pathetic!! There was no way around the BMW barring hitting it and going right across the grass taking the BMW with it. Gow is a Joke allowing that and my bet is it will come back to haunt him. It's bad enough "rubbin is racing" being trotted out every time a crash happens but we saw the effect of it in the various "off's" during the races! If that is what Gow wants why doesn't he pick up the tab for the totaled cars!

I agree 100%. Absolute joke. There's all this guff trotted out about driving standards and then they let that result ( where bear in mind he is completely off the circuit in the gravel) stand.

I've seen better driving standards in stock cars

This is why I'm glad officials are in charge at races.

Alan Gow isn't one of those officials incidentally.

He sets the "tone" unfortunately and He has in the past opened his mouth where he shouldn't. That does colour the officials judgement.

It's just annoying that every time a Yuasa Honda barges somebody, they get away scott free! Anybody else gets penalised, and then when it happens to Yuasa, they whine and moan like a bunch of milkmaids!!

Last corner, last lap going for win and you expect racing room on the outside?? Any other lap yes but not then... My opinion Sheddon knew exactly what line he was using through the chicane before he even turned for the apex... But maybe Im wrong who knows... I might try that line when I race at Donny this year and see if I get away with it...

In my opinion on the last lap incident both drivers knew what they were doing turks was pushing in off the track and shedden put the car there to make turks do it.

If turks had stayed on the track and hadn't had made contact then I would say the race was to be reversed and turks would win, but as turks turned in on shedden and both ran through the gravel (and as much as it pains me to say it as not being a fan of shedden) he shouldn't and incidentally hasn't lost the race win.

Just hope cole and Holland can make it on to the grid at thruxton both with heavy damage and one a wright off. 1 of only 2 ngtc cars to do so the other being the pirtek Honda at rockingham last year.
