There is good research around that supports that Motorsport fans are some of the most loyal purchasers around and its one of the few sports sponsorship mediums can if successful can create lasting legacy - just think Hawaiian Tropic - betting is you think girls in bikinis at Le Mans?

I know, but they've not always been on successful teams. But for some reason it reminds me of the Proton cars in the BTCC and watching them cross the line about 5 seconds after all the others, if they made it round at all
