Whilst the presenters are pretty dodgy it is encouraging to see interest in Motorsport these days.

Also interested to see how Dario gets on.

I think this has so much potential both in racing terms and in technology transfer from motor sport to production cars you and we will inevitably end up driving in the future.

It's a shame it's not had more publicity or traction in the media so far.

Agree at the moment it's not exactly the slickest, b it's early days and at least we have Jennie Gow presenting who has genuine motorsport interest, rather than a presenter that doesn't have a clue.
Perhaps, but she really should stick to radio, TV's not making her look good at all.

As for Mardenborough, what's that about? Game playing brainwash?

I have to say I'm impressed that they got a twenty car grid. Hopefully it stays full through the year and we don't have teams drop out. All cars seem to have got going at last smile

I'm watching. I really admire how they've gone about this and hope it goes well.

I'm getting range anxiety watching them do the parade lap though biggrin

Maybe we should look at it like racing was in the early 20th century, compared to modern F1 etc

It kinda looks like a Radio Controlled Car race but with the 'Zoom' button pressed a few times on the TV Remote. biggrin

Did they play some incidental music over the start? I'm sure I heard some dum dum dum noises just before the lights went out.

The sound will take some getting used to as well! Exciting first couple of laps, chicanes have been designed a little too tight I think maybe?

That's the dj, which is part of the formula...

City circuits rarely produce exciting racing which will be an issue for purist race fans [PHers]. Mostly square corners and stupidly tight chicanes means overtaking opportunities are limited so this could be a procession until the pit stops.

Thankfully they have turned the volume down to 1 on the mixing desk for us TV viewers.

It's still bloody annoying though.. I keep thinking I've got to put another pound in to top up my credits..
I'm sure there'll be a Ferrari Testarossa along shortly with a blonde in the passenger seat! biggrin

Oh dear, what an awful spectacle.

Actual RC (Radio controlled) racing is far more exciting. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...

Back to proper motorsport for me. Anything but this rubbish.

The racing is OK but the noise of the cars is just awful.

It's not going to be for everyone I guess but I'm enjoying it so far. Actually quite good racing down the pack and everyone pretty close together.

I'm watching. It's racing with the sound off. Track's a bit mickey-mouse - although the torque characteristics of an EV may mean that different tracks are needed to create good races.

Jennie Gow doing a fine job presenting.
