Aaaaaawwww. Gutted.

Still, this has been the best race (excluding the earlier push to pass ) that I've seen in a long time.

I know he is on PH, but plato is a mug!

Happy Turks is crowned champ already. Was cheering him on from race 1 this season. A true gent and fair racer.

It was a brilliant race! Hopefully now Plato doesn't need championship points the move will be punished accordingly.

Even though it was a genuine mistake from Plato if someone in one of the other series on the bill does that they would get a time penalty at the very least.

"I'm here to try and win races, not to mess around"

Aye OK Jason, maybe try not using the grass to overtake and driving into people then.

I hate how Louise panders to him in interviews.

It may still happen.

You can see what he was going for but with his experience he should have known it wasn't going to come off.

He's done the exact same move with the same consequences before...

Yep. What an absolute .

And she's consistently awful at her job.

What David Coultard said to her that time may have been disgustingly un-PC, but I couldn't have done it better myself.

What did she say? I missed it.

Given that it's usually a battle between her and Alan Gow as to who can suck him off best it's never a surprise to see her doing her job terribly while pandering to him even when she's interviewing someone else.

Plato keeps the win but moved to the back for race three.

What would you consider the correct punishment?

Sometimes it's good to come here and get a balanced view. My OH thinks the sun shines out of JP's arse and won't hear a word said against him

I'd go with a ten second time penalty - pass the win to Morgan

The win means little to Plato but would be a real boost to Wix

Penalties shouldnt be given out to give other teams a boost. Plato got shuffled to the back as he'd been on two strikes already but I think a disqualification from the results should have been dished out for taking someone out of the race.

How's about stripping him of the win and the points as well? Just a thought...

Would this be fitting with how others have been punished for removing someone else from a race this year? I'm not sure.
