Well, the car got sold and all the trucks have gone. From what I've heard, it wasn't a good ending to the whole dream.He may be back but only if he's back to hire driving.
I haven't seen an official reason why the split but I think WSR were quite shocked too.
eBay have been running a competition for WSR to give 3 cars a 10k makeover, car 2 has only just begun so I'm sure they're loving having to do that for eBay! The Fiat Punto they 'madeover' was comical.

Before the announcement from Colin that he was looking elsewhere it was unlikely that JP would go to WSR as I doubt either JP or Colin would event want to have to be the #2 driver and settle for second place at times. Now Colin is looking about, I think Team Tesco Clubcard Fuelsave West Surrey Racing, is a very likely possibility. Catchy, punchy name too! ha

"MG’s BTCC engineering partner, Triple Eight Race Engineering, is working on an exciting new-look driver line-up for 2015, which will see the MG6 GT’s re-branded and given a fresh look, courtesy of a host of new sponsors joining the team next year."
So I'm guessing (I seem to do a lot of this and get it wrong!) that there'll be no Plato or Tesco in 2015 for MG.
Tordoff has been part of the Kx Akademy over the last two years so I'm wondering if this will continue into 2015. Sam's facial expressions at Brands showed he wasn't fond of being number 2 to Plato though so unsure if they'd be team mates.
The only times that I ever see MG6s are at BTCC events so I can see why MG want to continue.

amazingly cheap as chips too for what you get! Mine was brand new top of the range Magnette with full leather, sat nav, bluetooth phone, reverse camera, heated electric seats, sunroof, cruise control etc etc etc, you name it it's got it! all for £10995!
Every home should have one! Looking forward to 2015. I hope they bag Turkington so he can prove the rwd didn't have the advantage after all. I'm sure he's desperate to prove a point after having this issue rammed down his throat at every round! Oh you may notice a few additions by me - 20" wheels, chrome bib, boot lip spoiler, red grill stripe and a few stickers courtesy 635 Register.

So where does this leave plato, I honestly think he will be in a new team/car, motorbase cant see it myself nor wsr.
Also turks his engineer I believe has gone to bmr so could be a move there for turks unless he stays goes back to wsr.
All in an interesting off season.
