The only times that I ever see MG6s are at BTCC events so I can see why MG want to continue.
Ha, I see one every day! Love it! amazingly cheap as chips too for what you get! Mine was brand new top of the range Magnette with full leather, sat nav, bluetooth phone, reverse camera, heated electric seats, sunroof, cruise control etc etc etc, you name it it's got it! all for £10995! Every home should have one! Looking forward to 2015. I hope they bag Turkington so he can prove the rwd didn't have the advantage after all. I'm sure he's desperate to prove a point after having this issue rammed down his throat at every round! Oh you may notice a few additions by me - 20" wheels, chrome bib, boot lip spoiler, red grill stripe and a few stickers courtesy 635 Register.Needs lowering .

Nah, it's about right for a factory car on UK roads! The last pic looks a tad high at the back but that was the way it was parked on slightly unlevel ground. Car is under warranty so can't alter suspension settings anyway and lowering doesn't always improve performance nor the looks imo. The set up of the MG6 is fantastic as far as the handling is concerned - top draw in fact!tux said:
Saw this last night, this would be awesome! Andy Jordan (@AndrewJordan77) tweeted yesterday:
Race kit prepped and ready for 2moro's photo shoot with my 2015 race car. All will be revealed 7th Jan.... #NewChallenge #Excited
New car? 7th Jan? So not unveiling at Autosport International then?
I understand Aiden Moffat will be unveiling his new Laser Tools Racing Mercedes at Autosport on the Thursday.

I have a feeling he will be at 888 with the mg. Or whatever plato is up to partnered with him. But more likely 888.
Also half the field has been announced so far
Aron smith bmr
Andrew Jordan ?
Richard hawken infiniti
Derek palmer infiniti
chris Stockton btc racing
Mike bushel amd tuning
simon belcher handy motorsport
Alex martin motorbase
Andy Wilmot welch motorsport
jeff smith eurotech
sam tordoff wsr
rob Holland audi s3
rob Austin exocet racing
Aiden moffet
Adam morgan
Honda are pretty certain to be there with the new type r and with neal and shedden. Motorbase might see gio going elsewhere, wsr still 2 seats available same as motorbase, 888 also bmr also got 3 seats still to be announced.
Can see a load of announcements over autosport international show.

"@Barrie_F1_BTCC: @AndrewJordan77 I think a few will be more interested in seeing your new #BTCC MG6 Mr Jordan."
And the response:
"@AndrewJordan77: @Barrie_F1_BTCC interesting guess..... Pretty sure they aren't 4 wheel drive though "
Maybe that World Rally Cross thing that's right up Redbull's street and Jordan going back to his roots??"@Barrie_F1_BTCC: @AndrewJordan77 I think a few will be more interested in seeing your new #BTCC MG6 Mr Jordan."

Just saw an advert on itv4 for what sport thy have in 2015. It had football rugby and the like and also formula e. But no mention of the btcc? Is it a done deal for showing the btcc in 2015 and they have just missed it off the advert or is it still in discussion? It also didn't include the Isle of Man tt though which I'd have thought was pretty much certain but just wanted to know if it as definite itv 4 were still showing the btcc next year
If Plato isn't in a Mercedes (I think C-class) with KX, Tesco sponsorship, I'll be surprised. He's been coy about what he's doing for 2015 and he has just had Mercedes signed to his Brand Pilot company, this is NO coincidence. Would probably need a Team mate though, but probably not somebody established
I don't see him returning to 888, so we have Gio & Jordan - which leaves Jeff Smith without a drive, because why work for 888, with Eurotech run by your dad as a rival?
I see at BMR: Turkington, Aron Smith and Warren Scott. Menu wont be back. Got the impression he wasn't happy with the way the BTCC is now.
Motobase: will be Jackson, Collard (see his twitter, its Motorbase or WSR) and Alex Martin (Confirmed) (NGTC Focus)
WSR: Andy Prialux, Toroff (I think it was clear he wasn't happy at 888, his body language said a million words) & either Collard or Foster I reckon, most likely Foster. https://twitter.com/FreeloveStuart/status/54932743...
Honda will be back with Type R Shedden and Neal make no mistake of that

I thought btcc was quite good this year, then I just watched the v8supercars season review and realised how far the btcc has to go to match up to it. Don't get me wrong, it is good entertainment, but they need to do so much more to bring in a wider audience and also improve the series. The variety of cars is there, but the racing isn't yet to the level it needs to be IMO. One weekend we can have brilliant racing and the next it's either dull as a muddy puddle or everyone just punts each other off. I still think btcc is crying out for a street race, especially now it's possible, as some sort of blue riband event a la Bathurst or surfers paradise. Hopefully the series continues to develop and organisers and competitors continue to get along.

I couldn't agree more I got into V8 Supercars about Four years ago & have to say that as a series it beats BTCC how good would it be to wach V8 MG's Mondeo's Passat's Insignia's V8 3 series rumbling around Donnington etc.I have to say a Bathurst style event at Donnington (I'd love it to be at Brands but the people round here love to moan about the sky being blue let alone an endurance race!!) would be fantastic & raise BTCC's profile.
