So Hunter Abbott's car was totalled in the race 3 smash, he's going to be out in the original Sherman for Brands GP.

Anyone know what caused Welch's spin that collected him? TV replays didn't give much away.

Now hes been excluded from 2 events this season alone, why should he be allowed to compete at Brands Hatch?

At least he's been excluded. Alex Martin has been a danger to those around him all year aswell as constantly crashing on his own yet not one punishment has been dished out to him this year...

He shouldn't be allowed to run at Brands.

And clearly any 'talent' is outweighed by a basic lack of mental control and or intelligence. Motorsport doesn't need idiots like him.

Jake hill to replace nic Hamilton for brands hatch should be interesting to see what he can do in the audi and also he back racing with tom ingram who raced together in the juniors few years back.

The rest of the season only being this round, he's not competing to try and focus on getting the budget and deals together for a full season next year.

Good luck to him, given his comparative lack of experience and shortage of seat time, it's not been a bad effort this year.

Ha ha yeah I forget there is only one round left LOL. You would think with how much cash his bro is sitting on funding would not be an issue. Perhaps he doesn't want to be beholden though and to do it himself. Money is always such a tricky subject.

Exactly that - he was interviewed BBC Look East and was at pains to point out that he was finding his own funding for this.

It's a disrespect to his achievements to suggest that the whole thing is being bankrolled by his brother, if that was the case a full season in a factory team car would be pocket change for him.

My daughter & I chatted at some length to him at Rockingham and to say he's down to earth is an understatement. The guy is the most self deprecating, knowledgeable, humble and enthusiastic gentleman one could hope to meet.
