Well, you all called it.
Plato and Turkington at BMR.
You couldn't get much more different personalities and racing styles, should be fascinating! Plato and Turkington at BMR.

Would be good to see them on the grid BUT...
I don't see BMR at front running team.
Really hope I am wrong, but they are good (Aron Smith did well a few times last year), but I see WSR, 888 and Team Dynamics being the teams to be in.
Anyway, looking forward to it.
run from a farm, owned by a farmer... despite signing Menu last year this is a major leap up the ladder. Interestingly they are based in the same small town as Hugh Chamberlain was, although that was some time ago, I wonder if they have any of Hugh's ex staff?I don't see BMR at front running team.

Plato tweeting that he really is going to have the year off...
Platos tweeting is just marketing and very well done.eastlmark said:

Tyrrell F1 was run from a wood yard.Yes, Hugh hasn't run a team for years but I'm sure he has plans in place if the right opportunity comes along, and I hope it does soon!
Wow, clearly I should check this forum more often, since I didn't see that one coming at all! This should be a mighty interesting season, the rivalry within that team could be enormous, given Plato comes across as having a rather large ego, and I have a suspicion that he may not turn out to be the fastest driver within that lineup, should be fun to watch.
Can't believe the deals Warren Scott can put together, considering how young the team is, last season was impressive enough, this lineup is amazing. Only slight disappointment is no Menu, it was great seeing him back last year, but I guess five cars with four top drivers would be getting ridiculous

Gutted by this, I've always thought of Turks as a BMW man (yes I know he had a couple of races in a Chevy in WTCC) I know the writings been on the wall since Collard was re-signed by WSR earlier in the week ,but I'd rather Turks not race in BTCC this year than race in another car.
It's BMW's own fault he's gone elsewhere. His loyalty has to be commended, but it was only ever going to hold him back. Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
