Well nick Hamilton news was meant to be the big surprise but someone jumped the gun on that.
But another none runner today,,,,and only running for half the season too.The hard avensis does look good though.
So who do we recon to be a first time winner this year a few strong drivers this year without a win in the btcc.
Top one being priaux although not sure if he even won in the production cup back in 2001 but he hasn't won in the main class.
Goff in the mg is another strong possibility along with ingram and moffet.
Could either smith or deeper sneak a win in the civic smith was close a few years back.
Im as always looking forward to the first race.

Well you would have to say Priaulx, but also Goff....thought he looked settled and really happy in the MG today.......and as for Moffat...BLOODY HELL!! He has some talent!!Top one being priaux although not sure if he even won in the production cup back in 2001 but he hasn't won in the main class.

I think its a make or break year for Eurotech...be interesting to see how they perfom without AJ and Mike.....lets be honest...Depper and Smith were midfield drivers alongside AJ.......time will tell!

Any chance of showing a bit of respect to the drivers by using capital letters for the names and spelling them correctly?Top one being priaux although not sure if he even won in the production cup back in 2001 but he hasn't won in the main class.

Another great day trip out for media day. Aiden Moffat looked on it from the word go n the Merc for both him and Morgan looked well sorted. Going to be close between all the BMR cars, pitty Smith had a gearbox problem which stopped his running early.
Heres my vid from the days action.

Totally agree with all youve said, the Merc boys look well up for it! And in my honest opinion, well BMR is just a great big melting pot for some contraversy!!! Three drivers that can be quite uncompromising at times..and all very fast hard racers (some fairer than others!) and the fourth that is certainly fast, but as the team boss will always play the team game.Heres my vid from the days action.

So Plato and Turkington both appear to be getting to grips with the car very well indeed.....infact Turks hot on Plato's heels times wise - so much for him taking some time to get into the groove of FWD!!
Thought Jordan looked very handy in the MG as did Goff, and certainly contenders.
As already mentioned, the 'NEW' type R bears an incredible resemblance to the 2013 hatch! As we all know, the tourer was the 2013 hatch with the rear end re-panelled into an estate.......they claim the type R is a brand new build ....but is it?? Or is it the tourer stripped back to the hatch it originally was, with a few type R panels on??? Find that very intriguing!! Either way, it looked a handful for Matt Neal on the brakes coming off the craner curves into the old hairpin!! The backend very light and twitchy!! It being a team dynamics car though, with Matt and Flash at the wheel, it wont be long before it's sorted and at the sharpend!!
Roll on Brands to see where everybody really is!!
Great footage too!
With regard to the inifinitis, we were there. The obvious car of the 2 was our 1st 'race' car, and yes we did bring the 'show car' as BTCC wanted us to have 2 cars there.
Unfortunately, there have been a few BIG delays along the way which were unforeseen (well, thats why it's a delay...). We were hoping to have the race car testing today, but again, the post man let us down over the last few days.
As for having 2 cars at Brands, it is the hope, but I think it'll just be the 1 for the 1st race, and hopefully the 2nd will be ready for the 2nd round back at Donington.
However, we did get lots of interest and it was good to see that there are people out there behind us. For majority of us, it's our first venture into racing. but we do have some fantastic experience in the team in the way of our Team principal and chief mechanics.
We will get there.
The Tena thing... We can't really complain about them, they are happy to back us and have been great supporters. Get's their name out there, and helps get ours aswell (even if it is the end of a joke, you're still talking about us )

I'm confused. You mean Andy Priaulx who won outright at Knockhill in 2002 in the Honda Civic Type R? Unless I imagined him doing that with my own eyes as I was soaked that day......
