Great days racing, last race was a cracker.

Matt Neal should have action taken against him, moves like that can ruin the sport if left unpunished. It's the one thing that has put me off BTCC in the past.

Absolutly fantastic day at Donington today.

Almost every race was a cracker - the open wheel formula ford stuff wasn't great but everything else was superb.

Shocker, the btcc doesn't act on the push to pass brigade again. Such a shame they're a bunch of spineless wkers, it takes the racing ability away from the series.

Pistonheads, where the posters get more upset about decisions than the affected party.

AJ didn't seem upset about it and obviously if there's a chance they can get something out of the appeal they'll go for it.

It's not stock car racing, the rules are clear that contact is not allowed, and the observers / tv coverage will clearly show he tried to nudge him off.

Its our leading televised national race series and should set a good example.

What a brilliant day of racing. Would be a shame if Neal keeps that win but otherwise fantastic to watch. God knows how they all missed Smith.

A superb race 3. Motorsport should be entertaining...and it doesn't come much better than this.

The current BTCC rules are fantastic. A diverse grid, interesting strategies (weight, tyres, shuffled grids) but it is no coincidence that the cream rises to the top. Each race was won by a Champion, and the top five championship positions are the former champions.

Neverthless, the rules allow talent in smaller teams to shine (Morgan, Moffat and Cook were exceptional). Thruxton next!

Josh Cook in race 3 was superb.

Proper exciting racing until the "incident"

Great days racing, also thought Collard edging Moffat onto the grass at the end of race 3 was OTT.

Having the result decided post race in the steward's office sucks, if anything a team should be watching the race live and have the ability to review footage instantly and order drivers to give places back or apply time penalties instantly. That's something sorely needed.

I wouldn't like to see contact removed altogether but in such an obvious case like that I agree the place should be given back there and then.

it is more than a little odd, the whole world sees a driver try to deliberately (as in full control) punt another car off the track on live TV, yet no penalty is applied, the officials reasoning should have to be published.

Brilliant day there yesterday. All 3 races were action packed and even the support races were good. Just a shame the Porsche's weren't there now they have a decent sized grid! Can't wait for Oulton Park now
