I have a 172 Clio, and the auto lights and auto window wipers don't work automatically like they should work when I manually put them on apart from first setting on the window wipers that don't work at all, I have checked all the fueses and I have tried turning them off and on (eg ignition on turning the lights on and off till the beep)

Chances are it's your luminosity sensor that's failed. Check for any screen damage around by the sensor itself (it sits in front of the centre rear view mirror) and check for any dirt. But these are unfortunately prone to failure.
