So the next round of Formula E is upon us - a massive error putting it on the same weekend as the last f1 race of the season IMO, possibly the worst choice from a marketing/publicity point of view as it will get overlooked for the F1.

The circuit looks a bit more interesting than in Beijing and some new drivers too. Very early start for the race on Saturday though so I may have to record this one!

I enjoyed the first race, only annoying thing is the music they play throughout the race.

It's kind of a shame that the first two races are in Asia, so too early for most people to bother watching in Europe, and that the calendar is so spread out. Completely forgot that Di Grassi won last time out, all I remembered was the Heidfeld/Prost contact at the end.

Saw the highlights for this one, looked like a decent race. The cars seem too slow, though, and it's down to the track. I doubt F1 cars would be able to go much faster there. I'd like to see them at a proper circuit to see what they can really do.

I recorded it. This one was better than the last one, though some very amateur driving (or, the cars must be super hard to drive..?).

I do like that they dropped the rubbish music from the race, too.

Just give the cars 2x the power, and slicks, and we'll be getting somewhere.

Just caught up with this - very decent racing I thought. I will certainly go the London race and look forward to next season when drivetrain development is opened up.

I think some of the issues under braking arent helped by how much the drivers have to do, they have to down shift, pull the regen paddle, brake, look in the mirrors, turn the steering wheel.

Only one thing there that any other formula doesn't need, that's no excuse. Especially given the relatively low speeds they are braking from.

I recorded it and watched it yesterday evening - what a dull formula, no matter how they try and dress it up.

Street racing and formula cars can (and in this case it seems, does) lead to boring racing as overtaking opportunities are reduced thanks to the possibility of damage resulting from even minor mistakes.
Then the quality of some of the driving left a lot to be desired, leading to a lot of safety car time (see above, poor driving, small mistakes and someone's in the concrete barrier).
Poor commentating and direction (how many times did the director miss an incident and the commentators get confused over who was ahead of who?).

All in all - poor, I can't see me bothering to watch again.
