sorry Matt I had to inwardly smile when you posted that up. I remember when you came on here telling us you had bought the car but didn't want any scratches on it, me and chanty said we would try not to rub up against you and a bit later on you were peeved you had collected a few stone chips, now look how far you have come.;) with speed comes a learning curve That was a bloo*y cracking scrap. You may have held a free bus pass for the last 5 years but you sure can peddle. A few laps later Mal took a picture of the orange Tuscan blowing a head gasket whilst taking the checkered flag great picture that may come to light if Mal reads this.
So another year , another Race , another track , another car but the same result couldn't help posting it

Hi Chris
Happy new year to you. It is a Rage. I think they have Hyabusa engines in. Extremely quick and very light but no match for the mighty TVR. Yep DJ have always done much wider wings I chose the width of mine balancing up the car with a twin element. I didn't have a wind tunnel to hand so I took simon McBeaths
suggestions and a flip of a coin. One of the best parts of my racing in the last two years has been learning about what works with aero on a Tuscan. The rear wing can produce way to much down force in it's present set up with regard to front down force. I have on new end plates now that keep the air stuck to the wing for longer and we have wound off wing as a result because it makes it even more powerfull. I have some more idea's for this year which I hope might work but the fun in my car for me, is trying to make it go faster hence why i'm not a fan of restricting cars performance and in Combe GT's "A" class there are no restrictions so I race a lot with them. I must be some where right with the car as we have the GT 2014 lap record at 1:09.23 at Combe .

The Chicanes were put in in the winter of 1998 ready for 1999 season.Andy R I think was thinking of pre chicane's which was a high 1.06 can't recall at the moment who that was but Richard Hay did a 1.05.5 in qually but didn't do it in the race just a 1:06 . Did a little digging for 2009, more so to get a target for this year. 1.08.72 it is then as Marc Hocin has the record at 1:08.73 in what is Keith's car now. Half a second to find no problem
Qually
Danny Win 1:09.99
Steve Glynn 1:11.14
Marc Hocin 1:11.22
