Vangissy has a quick car this year too by the looks of it.

Think he's going to win races - I cheer for him so a bit biased!!

Can help but think Ambrose needs to show some speed, and soon, otherwise his return may not last too long. Do like the look of his car though, very nice livery.

Even he has said don't expect miracles straight away, the cars are completely different to what he last drove, and he's spent 9 years in something completely different. Give him a few rounds hell be on the pace soon.

Isn't the Tekno car built by 888 anyway? It's got to be a pretty similar spec car to Whincup/Lowndes.

I was about to say this. Its a 888 built car. I cant see it be that different from the Redbull cars.

Hopefully they let him continue with the drifting, time attack, GT endurance races etc on the side that he currently does. Very quick, versatile driver.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Tekno car gets a few upgrades for the rest of the season now if there are any differences...

888 have the best engineers in the paddock prepping the cars. Going from blue to red seemingly there was hardly any difference.

Bernie owns the rights to coverage for all of the race weekend including support races. That's why its an exhibition race rather than championship round. Same reason BTCC has never bothered with British GP and F3 had a non-championship races.

IIRC the BTCC was on the support bill of the 1996 British GP. But even the season review had no actual footage of the races!
