Hi there, I may be being a little silly but I can't seem to find a Race of Champions stream? Anyone got one?

Ah I found that it is being shown live on Motors TV. Channel 240 on freeview (it is a streamed channel though, so internet enabled TV required), dunno what channel it is on Sky etc.

Watching it on Motors TV smile

Are the passengers in the Atoms and Xbows members of the teams, or randoms who have won the ride or something?

Love those monster trucks. On-board cameras under the cars. Fantastic! Wish they would bring it back to Europe though.

Wish I started watching this earlier, the track is a lot bigger/faster this year.

Good effort by DC to beat Solberg in a rallycross car. Notice it's just Mercedes AMG sponsorship he's carrying, have he and Red Bull gone their separate ways?

RedBull carry a legacy clause in all their contracts with drivers who have to run the RedBull logo on their helmets for at least 3 years after they have finished driving with the team with no extra funding given to the driver. Hence why Mark Webber still has the RedBull logo on his helmet in LMP Porsche, but RedBull don't pay him for that. I guess when you're desperate for a drive you're willing to give up certain rights to get the sponsorship.

I guess DC's clause has finally expired and now he is free.

The ROC guest passengers are competition winners and members of the team, but priority is given to guests and winners.

I'm predicting Wolff out in the first round, opponent errors aside she was hardly performing well.

Hmmm... As far as I am aware, Webber is still sponsored by Red Bull.

I don't get it - why is Susie Wolff there?

It's the race of champions, and I'm not aware that she's ever won anything, ever - not even insignificant series? I'm enojoying it anyway, Grosjean is mad as a box of frogs in those trucks, I want a go!

Race of 'Champions' would have been a bit exclusive. They want the biggest names they can get, and 'Race of Well Known Motor Sports Personalities' wasn't as catchy. Coulthard hasn't had the most successful career in terms of championships, but I don't think anybody would doubt that he deserves his place there.

Coulthard is a 13x grand prix winner, not a 13th place average DTM finisher. Wolff has no reason to be there other than because she's a woman. Her performance this weekend has proven that.
