Good to see that Corsica could be returning as a WRC round. The WRC should never have abandoned the 'classic' events. And why Sanremo has money/sponsorship problems, but Sardinia doesn't is a complete mystery. With Portugal returning 'home' north to the Fafe, we need Rally NZ to return, in place of Australia.
Add in a proper full 'Monte' and not the sprint we currently have. Maybe even a commercial sponsor for RallyGB - and a wider geographical area for it.
3-4 out of 13 events should be Endurance events; that means Thursday - Sunday 350-400+ miles.
And back to reality.........
Never mind, at least Sportscars still have proper events.

I read an article a while back and apparently Todt was shocked to see most current WRC events running to what he called "office hours". So maybe in the next couple years we might just see a change to event formats. But like you say, probably not in reality!
I see Poland will have a much different route this year, avoiding the sandy stages in Lithuania. Hopefully they at least keep their high speed nature.

Can't believe that, as WRC events has been run to 'office hours' format since the demise of Group B!But the events of the WRC today are but a pale immitation of those Group A days let alone Group B and Group 2/4 before that!!
Anyone else going to the North West Stages over the weekend?

It's a lot of short stages, so lots of starts and lots of heat cycles - neither of which is good for anything. Most of the stages are pretty unforgiving too - some big kerbs in Weeton, and the sea walls don't give much! Big variety of surfaces too, so tyre choice is very difficult - Weeton had 3 distinct surfaces, and it's a completely different place in the wet. Add in very tight road timing and limited servicing (by modern standards) and it's a big challenge for car and crew.
