Really unlucky for Breen, judging by the tyre tracks he enters the corner on the same lines as other cars, but his just doesn't grip on the exit and goes off. its one of those that he could have easily got away with had the car gripped a little more.

Great vids! Brings back memories - I was at the other end of the field in a Twingo. Start SS4 I had just changed my third puncture of the day, and Swanny had just kicked the screen out of his Fiesta. Needless to say we were a little slower off the line than that Polo! Great vids. Any of the National?
I remember the twingo! I was the marshal taking the time cards off the navs at the stage start thumbup
I didn't get anything on my camera of the nationals, battery died and the spare one I'd bought was a dud and didn't keep its charge so pretty much only got what you can see, there was more dead time between cars but I couldn't start and stop after every car, especially as you were all going in at almost minute intervals!

My bro used a proper video camera so I'll see what he has and post it up after editing smile

Good advice, the entry is already building fast!

Looks like Hirschi needs to work on his navigation on Janier rally!

ERC is worth following on Twitter if you use it, their news and videos blows the WRC's content out of the water!
It wouldn't take much of an explosion ....... smile

Craig Breen has yet another nightmare event.. Wondering how long he'll keep that contract.

To be fair to Craig that 208 R5 is the most unreliable piece of st to grace a rally stage, so when it is working he has to drive right on the limit to catch up. His stage 1 off the other day was pretty unlucky too! I do think though that he needs to win either the ERC or WRC2 this year to give him self half a chance of a full on WRC drive.

New M-Sport livery is out. Prefered last years if I am honest, and its sad to see them still lacking a title sponsor.

I don't think they're going to bin him after one off! from my link of his off, it was just an unlucky accident. I wouldn't even say it was his mistake, he didn't seem to be going to fast into the corner either. could all have been down to tyre choices.

I don't understand the ERC standings table, but for him to have come back to 4th overal at the end of SS18 is pretty impressive! but he's not showing as a finisher on the final standing? but somehow still managed to bag 3pts in the table?

I'm not sold on the Fiesta livery, its a bit plain and safe.
I think without getting the Bently GT3 contract (you can see at least 2 cars in the back of that pic) and thanks to being pretty much the only Manufacturer selling privateer cars, then they'd be close to folding the WRC outfit like threatened them a few years back.

Looks dull frown

RK's livery looked the best IMO

Prefer the earlier grill/front bumper treatment on the RK car too :

good news, the fia are looking to increase the power of.... f1 cars to 1000bhp in the name of entertainment making the cars harder to drive.Sso that should mean that they will also look to increase the power of the wrc cars, in the name of entertainment? or maybe not scratchchin

Loeb testing for Monte - http://youtu.be/YKsqPKsbkHE?list=PLVyRAt2cxbxsXY3F...

hard to really tell from just these brief shots, but he doesn't seem to have lost much from his sabbatical.

So what happens to Paul Bird etc with WRC cars? Do they do a separate championship?

They didn't run in the BRC anyway, they're BTRDA competitors.

Oh I see.

Any idea who'll run in the BRC? There's a few Fiesta R5s out there running isn't there.

Looks like a sensible move. The BRC was a DS3 RT championship...and despite the efforts of the top boys, FWD turbo cars are pretty boring.
Hopefully we'll see a lot if R5 cars, mainly the Fiesta I would think. I hope we see a few R-GT's as well.
Also, the events have to come up to scratch; the BRC should be the same level as BTCC, BSB and British GT - but it's no were near them.

I'm hoping to be at the Wyedean. work permitting! Usually run the start control on the Trelleck stage, not sure what we could be doing this year tho as its celebrating its anniversary so using classic stages.

I see monsieur Loeb is human afterall!

I will be at Wyedean, I see Perez has entered the Stratos!

Went to a rally test at Smeatharpe yesterday. Was bloody freezing, but decent enough entertainment. Some of the drivers needed to chill out a bit though, with many near misses!

I'll be at the Wydean too. Last time I went Andy Burton was competing! So any tips for spectators would be nice.

Looks a bloody good entry!
