Was marshaling up on SS1 Pikes Peak and then on the last stage which was a combination of Pikes & Myherin by the big "fans".
Gosh... it was cold (and snowy / foggy) wobble

Super day though and everyone was certainly on it lick

Oh dear, what a surprise, the promoter doesn't like it. Where is my 'not surprised' face?? Hats off to the organisers for having the cajones to try something different. The modern generic WRC events have lost most of their magic - this, while not perfect should be allowed to happen.

Although I can't see why they couldn't do the long stage on Thursday night and then 2 1/2 full days on the Friday until the Sunday?

They should at least do 3 very long stages each day, one per morning, afternoon and night.

It seems like alot of money and time doing FA to do any less stages than that.

I think Kris Meeke's comment that it's "a true tour of Corsica" is rather wide of the mark. I first spectated on The Tour De Corse in 1995, that was more like a proper tour !

The stages along the West coast (especially Porto-Piana) are just out of this world. The stage mileage for the event was 338 miles. The island is 60 miles across and it's 100 miles from Bastia to Bonifacio ...........

I hope they can find a route that's acceptable to all parties .......

Waiting for ss7 now. I can confirm the 6r4 sounds awesome. I'm just by the jump at the finish.

Yeah - I am ashamed to admit I didn't realise it wasn't a V6. It's not a 6R4 it's a "4M4" Got a bloody millington in it!

Still Simon Mauger won in the 6R4 by 1 second!! Beat Cole on the last stage! Amazing performance. Roger Hicks did really well in the Saab engined green mk2 "FLK 1T".

Really wet morning, saw car 53 go off (video incoming imminently), dried up in the afternoon thankfully. I sat SS5 out trying to dry out in the car!

what happened to Stephen Simpson? He ended up in a ditch or something didn't he?
Wondered why he wasn't in his fiesta, but then looked at the Malcolm Wilson results and realised he was competing there too!

Alex Laffey ended up finishing way down too..
