I used to have the fablon door panel with competition number from Graham Hills Mini that retired on a hairpin bend in Grizedale lots of years ago. I was about 12 years old. I also had the audacity to ask him for an autograph, which he kindly gave me.

My mum threw them out of my bedroom a few years later as they looked untidy...

Thanks mum! (She was forever binning stuff that looked like rubbish to her, but important to me, lol.

Bit of an update to my OP with the mirror.

I work in roadside assistance, was called out to a van last night, got chatting with the driver and it turns out he was the guy on Stobart, Trucks and Trailers who does the vinyl wraps. He also does some work for M-Sport. And Paul Bird. The company he works for is AST which happens to be the logo on my mirror and it was probably this chap who applied it!

Small world huh?!
