You would expect something like this on the open circuits like Le mans, sebring, but to see a fluffy creature like this inside a closed Daytona circuit seems odd to me?

Florida is full of 'critters and Daytona International Speedway isn't even people-proof, let alone possums, raccoons, bobcats, rabbits, snapping turtles and even alligators in Lake Lloyd (allegedly - I've never seen any). Some of the fans at the 500 make the vermin seem positively sophisticated.

Ack. I really wanted the Taylors to win - what a cock up!

Oh well - great race, really enjoyed that.

Now, bed.

GT Le Mans (GTLM): a continuation of the ALMS GT class, consisting of cars matching the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's GTE specification.
GT Daytona (GTD): a class that combines the Grand-Am GT & GX classes with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars from the ALMS GTC class and cars built to FIA GT3 specifications.

They were probably hoping for an earlier yellow as they knew they didn't have the race sewn up on pure pace with their other two drivers. Fair play to them, they rolled the dice but it didn't come off this time, it's just that they got hit with a yellow just as they had to come in so got an extra penalty.

That car ran throughout last year, too.

rage Bloody Porsche tried to take out the Leading Viper rage
Are these the two vipers that theyre trying to get into Le Mans this year?
The plan is to take ONE of these Vipers to Le mans, entry for Le mans closes on the 27th Jan so will have to wait and see what happens

Iv'e been keeping one eye on this development, but wasn't sure if these were the same cars.

Would be great if Riley could get one there. Missed them last year. Its a shame the SRT isnt getting the same backing as the likes of Corvette. They're cracking looking and sounding cars.
These aren't the same cars. Riley is planning to take one of last year's GTE Vipers to LM. The version racing in GTD this weekend was a GT3 version, like you might find in British GT.
