Watching NASCAR live - Texas "Duck Commander" 500 April 11th

I might possibly be near a big NASCAR race next month and was thinking of popping in.

It's a Saturday night 500 mile race at the Texas Motorspeedway. Do these things sell out or is it okay to get a ticket on the gate? I can be in the area Thursday or Friday before.

Any other tips are greatly appreciated!

Not for the past couple of seasons - you should be OK with buying tickets at the gate. Probably won't get a vehicle on the infield though.
Only sell out these days is the Bristol night race.
