Well sadly I'm out of it as I've been made redundant (yes it even happens to gardeners!) so can't afford to race this season. I'll put the Griff and truck into mothballs and hope for better days to come.....unless someone wants to buy my outstanding racetruck - only joking!
That's bad news Richard. Hope you can find more work soon. Thanks Perry and Dave - I guess it's time for this old soldier to "hang up his boots" but I'll still pole up at the odd DTEC and Castle Combe GT weekend. Thinking of moving to France, as my daughter lives and works in Geneva and James has gone back to being a student at The British Watch-making School courtesy of Patek Philippe, so he may end up in Geneva too - "plus ca change!"

I wanted scrutes to crawl over the car first…..Who know though, I will see how I feel on the day and how well car goes on sticky rubber.
Going to do Mallory and Donny. Will also do some DDMC stuff based around croft..
Theres another Pre-race test day in May at Croft, hopefully then I will be ready for a first race..
I take it thats the new Billet screamer?? Should be quicker than mine!!

Here's where we're at at the moment..
The Rover engined Tuscan is getting seriously prepped for some Class B DTEC racing at Rockingham.
Meanwhile the AJP 2 seater is getting seriously polished for some summer track days at Oulton.
The Purple car (aka the real 58) will be out for a couple of DTEC rounds as well.
Only about four or five race meetings scheduled this season due to some unplanned - but frenzied - Tuscan road car purchases this year.
By way of contrast to all this Tuscan based gratification i'll be digging out my MR2 Roadster as a daily driver for the next six months....
Keepin' it real

the winter hasn't dulled your polishing skills I see or your sence of humour , looking a treat for some sore eyes man.
As an aside, I was thinking most of the people who voiced such a strong reaction to not having the forum open to all racers and rename it, have not posted up in months. Whats happened to them? as usual it is left to the few to keep the forums ticking a long through the winter. Good job exhausts are bursting into life again

Maybe those who wanted all TVR racing including in this forum still feel left out and therefore don't bother posting about what they are doing. As an aside, I was thinking most of the people who voiced such a strong reaction to not having the forum open to all racers and rename it, have not posted up in months. Well spotted Jules.
It still has the Torque Flow with the settings that you did on the rolling road, but with the box of resistors mounted remotely in the "footwell" space on the n/s.
The heat and vibration was killing the electrics when mounted under bonnet, so i got Eann to remake the system.
It's mounted next to the coil and ECU in it's own little secure area , and - touch wood - has been reliable ever since.
With the 3.73 diff we put in for Rock last year, it now make's the most of those cheeky little 330 horses that you squeezed out of it - not at all bad for a £2.5k Chimmy 500 road engine .
