Wow, what a final half of the race that was! Bet Montoya can't believe what happened, he certainly had a few choice words regarding the double points and said that Dixon had a sit season.
I didn't even see Dixon winning it to be honest, but if you take away the double points Montoya would have won the championship. In fact if you take away the double points for the Indy 500 he would still be champion. Gutting.
However, I have felt increasingly the past few races that Montoya was being too conservative in trying to bring it home and secure the points. I know that is how a championship is won - winning when you can and scoring heavy points when you can't, but I just felt he was too careful.
