That was a fantastic race, and the last 15 laps were some of the best / most intense I've ever seen. Congratulations to Montoya too, amazing win from 30th.

Couldn't get any of the "dodgy" streams to work, so, missed it, maybe I will find it on youtube, just happy there was no "big one" . . . could have been today in Monaco, certainly for the Marshals, as I said a few posts back, if Verstappens car had got air over the kerbs , fortunately the day ends well on both sides of the Atlantic thumbup

Not a single car got airborne in any of the crashes. I assume they have found the cause and cured it. The new kit did help with the drafting, I couldn't tell you how many times the lead changed in the closing laps. biggrin

Once again I missed the end of the race thanks to my BT box recording stopping 9 laps from the end frown

Great win for Montoya and a very exciting finish. Doubly pleased for Juan Pablo as it kept that whinging Aussie Power from winning.

First time I've watched the Indy 500 live since the mid 1990s. Great event - and those cars certainly do seem to require real courage to drive at those speeds.

As with most years I managed to tune in for the last 10 laps or so, and was glad to see Montoya take the win. I've been a big fan of his since he shoved Shumacher out the way in Brazil 2001!

Just glad the race passed with no cars flipping really, that was by far the most important thing smile

Mine was doing the same, checked the signal on the box and it had full signal strength but zero quality, had to watch the second half of the race in SD.

Reassuring that I wasn't the only one affected!

I was recording, so it knackered that. Had to watch the last 20 laps on the re-run

The picture went just as the big accident to Saavedra, Hawksworth and Colleti was happening and the picture at the time on an onboard camera on another car. I thought this is really realistic, briefly.

Red flag for 'lightning in the area' - seriously ?

Probably not as mad a decision as it first sounds, given it's a reasonably exposed location. I wouldn't want to be sat atop a camera crane with lightning around. I'm sure there have been lightning strikes at NASCAR races in the past.

Anyone else just see Munoz stupidly driving an engine damaged car across a live track in front of another car? He had grass to his right where he stopped at first and a gap in the wall to be push back to but no, must drive across the track to the run off instead rolleyes
