It always has done - that's what your box switches to when you press the red button and select the extra content, which allows you to select different audio streams too. Only on races that the BBC cover live though, so it's not as good as it used to be.

Agreed, but, over on some F1 sites apparently not everyone knows that. Hence my reason for spreading the good word more widely. I actually split the BBC 1 TV coverage and their Red Button ( Freeview Channel 601 ) coverage 50-50. I actually prefer James Allen's far less schoolboy excitable commentary than Ben Edwards. Allen has improved since his TV commentary days.

I will use that 50-50 split for those races BBC cover. My brother has the more extensive Sky F1 stuff but, I prefer that 50-50 BBC coverage set up.
