Does anyone know if you buy streaming on the website or via app that you can access both this year? Last year it was only access to the platform you purchased on.

Good question, I'm not sure, I was going to hold off and see how good the coverage was from motors tv before I paid out, it seems OK for this race, if coverage stays this good, ill hold off and just buy lemans closer to the time.

Brilliant stuff so far, (slightly biased ) But great luck/strategy from the 919's getting the pit timings sorted and leaving Audi behind.

There's a long way to go yet though.

For me, the signal for Motors TV can be very patchy (I really must get an engineer out to move my satellite dish as its line-of-sight is through trees) but it is pretty solid today.

As for Le Mans, it's been on Eurosport HD for the past couple of years which is included in my Sky package (even though I don't have the Sports package) so that's good.

Is it? excellent! we've only signed up to sky this year, but don't have the football, so had resigned myself to watching le mans on stream again. That's great news, ta.

In other news, that's at least 2 gearboxes Webber has killed in the 919.

Agreed, the contrast with the earlier GP couldn't be more striking.

Always been a fan of WEC but this year I'm making an effort to follow the whole series rather than just LM and catching the rest of the news in print.

But this Porsche-Audi battle is some of the best racing I have seen.

Yup, it's fantastic, I switched over to bbc1 to catch the f1 highlights at 2pm, but 20 mins in decided the racing was far superior in WEC. Amazing stuff.

Just hope I've not missed too much. Has no 18 held together and fended off the relentless Audi attack?

Seriously? confused
Yes, now either answer or do one.

I initially thought they were going to do the old le mans start where they run across to the cars, but they were already strapped into the cars

Oh, sorry I misunderstood your question and thought you were asking why it wasn't a standing start. Clearly they were evoking a Le Mans start.

Well your the one with the sarcastic 'seriously' over a straight forward question.

I know you must have a vastly superior knowledge of endurance racing to me but all it would of taken is a straight forward answer.

Well this penalty is a bit "nascar" isn't it?! Everyone has been off track all day!

Yes, indeed. It does seem monumentally inconsistent. yes

As if we were lacking drama and close racing in this race. rolleyes

Yes, but if he stayed on track he would have been balked and lost a place to the Toyota. Tough call but I think it's correct.

That was a superb 6 hours of racing,

Absolute cracker of a race.

Spa & Le Mans are going to be epic. Can't wait.
