Hey Kermit, the best thing about Lydden is you can can see the whole track from prity much any were. I like being at the hairpin, but if u can get down to near the start line and enjoy the supercars when the launch, its spectacular.
We spent the first chunk of the day by the marshalls' station just after the Joker segment rejoins the main track, then went up to the very top of the hairpin for the next few races. What a cracking format to introduce young kids to motorsport! smile

A few photos below, and no, the Spit isn't a mistake... You don't often see a display aircraft come down as low as he was! smile

Bloody hell, Kermit Power, I think we must've been stood pretty much next to each other!

Rest of my photos are here: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk/2015/world-rallyx... Absolutely awesome day's racing and, in light of the scores of GT races I've seen down the years, I didn't miss BES one bit.

The Spit was incredible. Came out of nowhere over the trees. We were down by the joker lap bit when he appeared.

He must've been mucking around in the sky for a good ten minutes.

Blimey! I think you're right! wavey

I was right behind the marshals with my boys (7 & 9), mostly surrounded by people with 100-400 L lenses. hehe
